This wine cooler should be avoided. I bought one last summer and it died after 6 months. It is the second brand of wine cooler that I have owned (Oster was the other one and that died also) and I guess I could try to get the manufacturer to give me a new one but that would probably die in 6 months too so why bother? For some reason, it is really hard to find a cooler that lasts over a year for under $500 which is ridiculous. Also, this cooler does not have a temp. guage which I think is a "must have" in any cooler. My advice to anyone buying a lower end cooler is to get an extended warranty of at least 2 years.

I liked this product a lot...for the first 12 months. I bought two of them one for our lake house and the other for in town. They kept a true temperature, ran quietly and did just what you would expect of a wine cooler; until suddenly they both stopped working. It was uncanny they both simply quit keeping the wine cool after almost exactly a year of owning them. If I was a cynic I would call it planned obsolescence. It's pretty frustrating. I won't buy an EdgeStar anything ever again.

I'm not a big "white" drinker, my collection is heavy on the red side, however I wanted a smaller cooler to get the whites out of the refrigerator.Set up in minutes, cooled fairly quickly and very quiet I've had to check a couple times just to make sure it's on.Love the look and it feels sturdy enough. It's very short I have it next to a chair now in my kitchenand it's about the height of an arm rest.I have zero complaints or issues with it but I've had it only 5 days. We'll see how it survives the long-haul.Not sure if it'll work for under counter as there are side vents and it might need circulation you'd have to check that.

I bought this wine fridge on amazon because I was having a hard time finding any kind of selection in the big box stores for these. The shipping was expensive though. The bottom of mine when it was shipped seemed to be dirty like it was re-shipp'd to me from a return. It still works ok. The fridge stays pretty cool but installing the handle on the door was a pain. You have to take out the edge rubber insulation on the door to screw it in. The big drawback is that it has a cool blue led light and temp change knob but it is in the inside back of the fridge. so you hvae to take out a wine bottle to reach it an usually I would like the controls on the door and only turn on the light (so it doesn't burn out) when I want something. Other than that it is a very quiet efficient product.

This cooler was acquired to replace a similar model that quit after several years of use. The styling is nice as the silver door is preferable to the otherwise boring black that is commonly offered in these coolers. Quiet operation and wine bottles fit correctly. The temperature does seem to get very cool which is important to me. Many of these coolers barely get below room temperature but this one seems to keep the product cool. I took off one star because this item is made in China. The door can be reversed which the description did not mention.

Whirlpool W10295370 FILTER1 Refrigerator Water Filter

• Reduces cysts, asbestos, chlorine's taste and odor, particulates, and lead
• Retains beneficial fluoride
• NSF certified
• Filters should be changed every 6 months

Seems to be working out great on our Whirlpool Gold side-by-side. It seems to be the exact filter that the fridge came with, but it also came with a vinyl removable sticker that has the month you bought it and the month it needs to be replaced. Very helpful!

Shipped SUPER fast!! I usually get things in two or three days this came the very next day! I priced this elsewhere, too, and Amazon was the best deal (if only by a few dollars).

I live in Tucson Arizona where the water is cruddy. Very cruddy. I used to have a GE refrigerator with a GE filter system. Filters were about the same price as this one.But having replaced refrigerators and after about a year of using this filter in my Whirlpool refrigerator I can confidently tell you this filter produces a much cleaner taste when drank at room temperature. The temperature where a true taste test should be conducted because even pretty bad water has very little taste when ice cold as you probably have notices. Oh, and replacing this filter in the frig is a snap also.

It filters the water. What can I say. However, I especially like ordering things like this from Amazon.I can wander through 5 or 6 different home discount and hardware stores before I find the right item. This way, I just reorder it from Amazon and it appears at my door. Not something that I need to shop for.

This part is easily installed into the refrigerator, it lasts a very long time. It needs to be replaced approximately once every 6 months which is perfectly fine with me, better than the one I used to own which needed to be replaced within 3 months. Great price and great service received from Amazon as usual.

• Great space saver!
• Door reverses
• Shelves can be removed or adjusted
• Interior light adds visibility
• Multiple temperature options

This unit is super noisy!!!! Also, the temperature adjust is very finnicky to adjust. If you're beverages are on the top shelf in front of the fan, they will freeze. If you turn unit warmer, then other drinks are luke warm. The shelves are a pain in the neck to adjust, and they are EXTREMELY FLIMSY. The bow under the weight of just a twelve pack. Overall, I am NOt satisfied with this unit. In fact, it is my second. The first one I got was a lemon, and the fan under the unti stopped working. They sent me a new unit. It ened up breakig too (a different part), so I salvaged a part from the first one to fix it. Oddly, their wine cooler I have (often solod as a companion to this unit) is completely awesome. But, the beverage cooler SUCKS.

Electrolux EWF01 Replacement Water Filter

• The EWF01 cartridge is tested and certified to ANSI/NSF standards 42 and 53
• The Electrolux EWF01 is also known as the Electrolux FC300
• The Pure Advantage EWF01 refrigerator filter fits all branded Electrolux fridges, except for Electrolux Icon side by side models
• It does however, fit into the Electrolux Icon French door models
• Water filters should be replaced every six months or if your water has a bad taste or odor

I originally tried the EWF2CBPA filter (it was $10 cheaper and said "PureAdvantage", which is what I thought I needed), but it didn't work.It looked very similar, and almost fit, but there's a piece on the front that keeps it from going in all the way.Turns out that that filter only works in Icon model fridges, and the filters are not interchangeable.I returned the other filter, ordered this one, and have had no problem with it.I notice that this item's page now explicitly says that it does not work with the Icon model, which is helpful.I can't help but wonder if some of the problems people have had have to do with this avoidable confusion--the other filter's page barely mentions the word "Icon", and doesn't say that it won't work in other PureAdvantage systems.

I see no reason for the complaints about water leakage. As long as the model # matches Electrolux's recommendation, these are the exact same filters one would purchase direct from Electrolux.Of course, one must also follow installation instructions. These are a good buy.

I ordered the wrong size the first time.My fault I guess, I typed in what I was looking for and ordered the first result that came up in prime.I should have double checked to make sure I had the right model, but Amazon replaced it for me with this one.And this works fine, fit was perfect. My original one was clear and you could see the water and filter stuff inside. This is covered in white plastic and had me worried at first but I have not had any issues.I have run several gallons through it.

Vinotemp VT-18TEDS Thermo-Electric Digital 18-Bottle Wine Chiller, Black and Stainless

• Freestanding digital wine chiller keeps up to 18 bottles properly chilled
• Thermo-electric cooling system protects wine from unnecessary vibration
• Ultra-quiet operation; does not use ozone-depleting chemicals
• Energy-efficient dual-paned glass door; 5 pull-out shelves included
• Measures 21-1/2 by 14 by 25-1/2 inches; 1-year limited warranty

I've had this unit for about 3 weeks and it's running quite well. It arrived quickly and undamaged. Packing could have been better but since it arrived OK, no problem. It fits 18 normal wine bottles (750ml). It's quite quiet (certainly less noisy than the Cusinart I had). Temperature is adjustable and accurate. Obviously it allows for one temperature, so if you like your white wines chilled you'll probably have to move it to the fridge and hour before you open the bottle.

Overall I'm very happy with this unit. We called a wine store for a recommendation and this is the manufacturer he recommended.

Buy Vinotemp VT-18TEDS Thermo-Electric Digital 18-Bottle Wine Chiller, Black and Stainless Now

Pros: Looks nice, easy interface, temperature control is pretty quick. The other review is right, the packaging is very good.

Cons: The big con is that this unit will NOT fit all 750ml bottles adequately. I bought a long-necked bottle of Riesling...it's an inch too long to fit! I had to lay it diagonally across the bottom tray, taking up 3 spaces. I bought a wide 750ml bottle of Pinot, and a bottle of port..they're too wide to fit the middle racks. I have to stick them in the top rack. Ok, I understand it's not meant to hold 18 port bottles but you'd figure that the rest of the wider red bottles should fit. But no. Even some other moderately-wide 750ml bottles seem to have trouble fitting into the middle racks.

If the unit was just a little a couple inches taller and deeper to accommodate more 750ml bottle shapes, it would be a great device. As is, expect to fit about ~15 bottles, and have some squeezing/rearranging issues.

Purchased this wine cooler in November '10, stopped working in July '11. When i first began using it, it took awhile to get down the to proper temperature something like 3 days. But once it did, it was fine. However, when summer came along the unit couldn't get the temp below 65 degrees, sometimes struggling at 68-69 degrees. After about a week in the high sixties, the temp shot up to 80 degrees, even though the temperature of the room was in the mid 70s. Warranty is 90 days, so I now have to purchase a replacement cooling system for $50 i hope the service instructions are good.

Poor quality, I would look elsewhere.

They sent the wrong cooling system first, then when the correct unit came, it did not work. This whole experience from the product to the service has been a joke.

We wanted a unit that could hold a sufficient number of bottles of wine with out taking up too much space and that doesn't generate a lot of heat or noise. This Vinotemp 18-bottle unit fills all of the above. It fits neatly into a space behind our wet bar and is very quiet. We are very pleased with it and the speed of shipment.

Vinotemp VT-21TEDS Thermo-Electric Digital Dual-Zone 21-Bottle Wine Chiller, Black and Stainless

• Freestanding dual-zone digital wine chiller holds up to 21 bottles
• Thermo-electric cooling system protects wine from unnecessary vibration
• Ultra-quiet operation; does not use ozone-depleting chemicals
• Energy-efficient dual-paned glass door; pull-out wood shelves
• Measures 21-1/2 by 13-1/2 by 32-1/8 inches; 1-year limited warranty

The unit has a nice feature of being able to store white and red wines at your selected temp. The size is very good and was perfect for the area we wanted to place it. It holds the selected temp just fine but if the power is interupted you will need to reset your settings. It does have a few shortcomings... It is much louder than a standard fridge given it's size. The shelves that you must use to remove a bottle don't fit very well at all and they will drop out of their slots while in use. These wood shelves are all very cheaply made. The LED lights inside are all but useless. The door must be opened fully (180 degrees) in order to slide out a shelf to remove the bottle. We have a GE unit in another location that is a much better unit but only has single selected temp. It did cost nearly twice what this unit did.

If/when it dies I will not replace it with this brand or model. It proved to point that you get what you pay for.

We have no beef with Amazon.com in fact they were very accomodating and quick to replace our first Vinotemp wine refrigerator, with a SECOND Vinotemp wine refrigerator (and they Fed Ex'd it at Amazon's cost).

In both instances, the Vinotemp refrig arrived with a big dent in the back of the refrig. We couldn't detect any indentations in the surrounding styrofoam so we concluded it was leaving the VINOTEMP factory like that (nice quality control, Vinotemp!).Also, since we only saw a photo of this product online, we weren't aware of how cheap it looks up close and personal. The fact that both times we received a damaged VINOTEMP was actually a blessing in disguise.

We ended up buying a Haier wine refrigerator for a few dollars less and it holds 15 more bottles and is superior quality.Whew.

P.S.Also at one point during our decision making process, I called Vinotemp directly to ask some product point questions.I spoke to two different representatives and it was obvious that NEITHER one knew what she was talking about.I had an unsettled feeling about that, but we went forward anyways.

Again, damaged VINOTEMP out of the factory (2x) = blessing in disguise!

I loved this product at first. But unfortunately it only worked for 5 months. The company sent me two replacement coolers. None of them worked! Now i am stuck wth this last one because they dont want to replace it again. The controls do not work, the temperature inside is way too low for wine and the temp display went crazy. Now I am using as a wine cabinet UNPLUGGED. Sad... Never again from Vinotemp!

1. The Vinotemp wine cooler arrived damaged.

2. It looks cheap (although I liked the blue lights). Having to open the door all the way is annoying .

3. The wood racks are difficult to slide out.

4. The temperature doesn't stay down when summer comes (now I know why after reading the comment from another reviewer: no compressor)

5. The unit broke down 15 months after I bought it. Repair cost: $400. Forget about it, I'm junking it!

4 Liter AC/DC Portable Mini Fridge Cooler Warmer (White)

I ordered the mini-fridge for my office for days when I bring lunch from home.It is a great size and fit well on my desk.Unfortunately, after about 2 weeks, it stopped getting very cold. Then it stopped staying cold. After about 6 weeks, it stopped getting cold at all.Needless to say, I was not pleased. When I contacted the seller to return the item, I was told curtly that the warranty for this product is only 30 days, and I had not contacted Amazon until nearly 2 months (!!) after the purchase, so it could not accept the return. After I pressed the point, the seller not-so-subtly implied that I had broken the item, as these types of items typically last for years, and again that it could not accept the return. If you're looking for a mini-cooler that actually keeps things cold (or a seller that is interested in making customers happy), look for another product!

This little fridge really surprised me with how good it works! The food is kept almost icy cold(not frozen)and it has just the right amount of storage for me.I can fit a couple of sandwiches,a container of milk and yogurt into it all at once.

I would have given it 5 stars except it is a little noisier than I thought it would be.I haven't tried the warming feature yet,but based on it's performance so far, I'm sure I won't be disappointed.

Buy 4 Liter AC/DC Portable Mini Fridge Cooler Warmer (White) Now

Just right to help keep your drinks cold over short periods of time at your desk. It's still a fridge (of a different sort) so don't be unreasonable and expect it to not make any noise. Also keep in mind that the heat this removes from the inside compartment has to come right back out into your room. It would be perfect if the inside compartment were an inch taller, then it would accommodate most plastic bottles as well. You can usually fit one in there if you put it in diagonally, but it's just BARELY too short to slide in normally. Heartbreaking.

I bought this as a gift for my mother in December 2011 to place in her bedroom and it ran good during the time she had it. Then in August 2012 (8 1/2 months later) it overheated (on cool) and caught fire.

If she weren't at home it would have set fire to her wooden nightstand she had it on then catch flame to her bed then her room and possibly the whole house. Even if she weren't in the room at the time it started it could have done substantial damage.

Luckily she was in the room and heard crackling and smelled smoke and quickly unplugged the unit.

The entire side where the plug goes into the refrigerator was completely melted.

A safety issue and I would not recommend this product to my worst enemy
