We bought this trim kit for our new Frigidaire refrigerator....and let me say this....it is sooooo cool looking!We love it!It makes the fridge look just like a built-in unit that costs much, much more!I recommend this product to anyone with this fridge/freezer set!

My husband chose this fridge and freezer. I must say I was skeptical but now I love it. It looks very expensive and everyone can't believe how little we paid. It looks like Subzero fridge.

We finally installed the trim kit. It looks great! A couple of minor flaws but nothing enough to

notice. There was a delay in installing because we had to build a surround for it first. It looks

good and it appears to be one unit instead of two. It gives the units a much more neat appearance

and built-in look. I am pleased with the results.

Bought this kit a couple of years ago and we have been very pleased. It seemed a bit pricey at the time but all the components are very well constructed using heavy duty material, not flimsy or easily bent up sheet metal. It looks great installed, which was also easy. It's nice to buy something that's well built for a change kudos to this manufacturer!

Although this gadget is mainly to keep the fridge smelling fresh (and it does), the reason I got it was because of the alarm to alert me when one of the doors doesn't close tightly.I have a three door fridge which I love, but one of the top doors doesn't always close completely.Being ajar even a little allows the light to stay on so the top shelf being nearest the bulb gets warm fast.Because the door is only open a little, I may not notice it and once it was like that all night causing various things to spoil.The fridge seems to know if the door is open for an extended period and turns itself off from perpetually running so that doesn't help either.

When I saw this gadget advertised, the one thing that got my attention was that an alarm would sound if the temp in the fridge got too warm.I couldn't get on the phone fast enough.I've had another temperature sensor that attached to the outside of the fridge with probes that supposedly attached inside with suction cups, but they didn't stick, the wires were in the way, the alarms were hard to set and if the thing did go off, I couldn't figure out how to turn it off without having to reset the whole thing.It wasn't effective and I eventually threw it out.

This thing is great.It takes batteries and shows the temp in the fridge in the little display window.When I open the door I can see what the temperature is easily and have come to expect it to be 38 degrees.There is a setting to have the alarm on or off in case you are cleaning things out and don't want the alarm to sound, but when the switch is on, it will sure enough make a sound loud enough to tell you the door has been open too long and the temp has risen too much.The alarm goes off immediately by itself when you close the door.I love this thing.Since I've been using it I haven't had any bad odors, but then that may just be because there hasn't been anything spoiled in there.I don't know.Maybe it's just working as designed.Produce seems to stay fresh for a good long time so it may be helping with that too.To me, both of those features are just extras.What I wanted was the alarm and I've been delighted that it's so effective.I highly recommend it over other gadgets to alert you to a door left ajar by mistake.

Update: I mistakenly thought the alarm sounded because of temp change sensed by this device, but upon reading the instructions (finally :) I see that the alarm sounds due to a light sensor on the device that knows when the fridge light has been on (therefore door open) for more than 60 seconds.

Of course I was skeptical, it sounded just like any other gimmick gadget. But since it was cheap I decided what the hay, why not give it a try. Well I was pleasantly surprised by the results. No odors whatsoever and my produce is lasting much longer. Paid for itself in weeks. I alos like the alrm to let you know if you left the frig door open, nice added feature.

Ice maker was not working / local distributor said it would take some 2 weeks to get a replacement on order for almost twice the price I got on from Amazon for and within 4 days.Ha Ha / Another great job with my buying experience through Amazon.

Oh the FUNNY part of the story is my ice maker started working again but I am not returning the part since it was so inexpensive.I will hold on to it and will probably need it in the future.They just don't make parts like they use to in the good old days!!

1/2" Compression Hose End Plug Raindrip Replacement .620 OD with 3/4" Cap - Green Ring

I have complained about the Rain Bird 1/2'" hose & fittings because they differ in size from the ones I use from Orbit & DIG. These are .620" OD (outside diameter) and are noted by the green ring and are the about the only ones I have found that fit the Rain Bird hose. There are other fittings that look exactly like these but are .710" OD, marked with a blue ring, and though both are noted as 1/2-inch systems the parts are not interchangeable. Most of these fittings are pretty pricey but if you look at the other sellers you can easily find them for around a buck and buying in quantity does pay off in combined shipping with places like Grady's Online & Irrigation Direct. I purchased a total of 18 pieces (6 couplings, 4 tee's & 8 hose ends) and the total, with shipping, was about 13 bucks. Amazon sells the hose end at about 4 bucks each so you do the math.

These are great fittings and I use them on systems that operate with a pressure reducer at 25PSI so I can't say how effective they would be at higher pressures. The downside is that once on they do not come off and that's why they get 4 stars. I much prefer the Orbit & DIG systems because parts are interchangeable (these will not work on them because they are yet another variation in the 1/2 -inch measurement) and they can easily be removed if you want to add more hose or change an end cap to a tee. I purchased 500' of Rain Bird hose not knowing that I would end up with a 1/2-inch drip line that required special fittings so I have had to buy even more fittings to get the line useable. It's your choice which way you go but don't pay more than a buck for these fittings and since I can't buy them locally I'm glad there's some choice on Amazon. I still prefer the Orbit & Dig because home centers carry parts and they're pretty cheap also. If you remove one of these fittings you will need to use another fitting to use it again... if you want to remove and end cap to extend a line you will need to add a coupling ahead of the end cap to use it again so don't cut them off too close... or you can use a female hose end, remove the cap and screw them together. I have several pretty extensive drip line systems that cover several large gardens, trees, shrubs and flowers so the cost of parts adds up quickly. Bottom line... nice fittings, can't be removed and I think they're somewhat inferior to the Orbit & DIG line of fittings.

THIS WHIRLPOOL 8201799 COMPRESSOR START DEVICE IS DESIGNED TO WORK WITH MANY WHIRLPOOL COMPRESSORS.

OK here is all the info you need but could not find about this kit. This is an "ERP Exact" kit. Its not the FPS "official" Whirlpool box. BUT it appears to be identical and the price is great. The photo shown is incomplete; this kit contains the Embarco cover, jumper, relay, two thermal overloads, and the instruction sheet. The jumper is just a simple wire with male and female spade-lug connectors that allows the existing small female connector on your refrigerator wiring to adapt up to the larger male terminal on the new relay "white wire" contact without crimping on a larger terminal. Nothing special, just simple. The overload protectors are both Klixon just like the OEM kit. I did not notice a brand on the relay but the fit, finish, and installation were perfect.

Installation is trivial for anyone with a basic set of "repair skills". I fully respect that many people just cringe at the thought of repairing a refrigerator but seriously if you have gotten to the point that you have decided you need this part based on hands on diagnostics, then you can replace it.

Diagnostics, internet research, and disassembly, took about 2 hours. Re-installation of the new parts took 3 minutes. Installed Aug 15, if it fails I will add more. If I don't post again, its running fine.

This item was very easy to install,I saved so much money sears wanted $80 dollars to send someone out to look at my fridge to tell me it;s not getting cold,repairs not included. so i received my fridge from amazon, had to return it the next day due to 'funny' noises. received another within 2 days. still the same thing ! i thought i was buying a fridge, NOT A DARN WAVE MACHINE !!!! fridges make a vibrating noise, i understand that. but this machine was making the vibration noise AND a 'whooshing' sound on a constant basis. one of the worst products ive ever experienced with. waste of my time. i would not recommend anyone buy this !!! but if youre looking for a fridge that doesnt even cool your beverages and a wave machine in one, then this is for you. i dont even want to RATE this item, but looks like i have to. This unit was OK for a while, then started making noise and eventually died before it was even 4 years old. OK if you want something cheap for the short haul.

I bought this product as a christmas gift for my sister and her boyfriend, and they love it!! If they are happy then I am happy. So it was a job well done, for the price of the product and happiness, it was well worth it. :)

I have had this fridge for over a year. I returned it once for replacement. This fridge WILL NOT get below 50 degrees inside (using a digital thermometer) regardless what you do to the temp setting, location or outside environment. I have never been so disappointed in a can fridge in my life. I put a Coors light bottle in it for a week without opening it and the "mountains are not even close to turning blue". Buy something else, I did.
