With so many brands to choose from, and many negative reviews of most wine coolers, I didn't want to invest in one that I would not be happy with, and the price of this cooler is a steal! After 8 months of experience with the Haier I must say that I'm very satisfied with this wine cooler! I've had zero problems! Even after leaving home for two months this summer, where temps inside my home reached 90 degrees, the cooler worked great! I'm now looking to purchase a larger Haier, 8 bottles is OK, but I'm looking to now move up to 32...!

Our Wine Enthusiast cooler stopped working after less than a year. After some research and shopping around, we bought the Haier 8 bottle cooler for red wine.(We own a much more expensive Cusinart 8 bottle for white wine.)Although it takes a little while to reach the desired temperature, the Haier remains constant and accurate.It is a little noisy but we don't mind since its in the basement.Delivery was prompt and we are happy with this product. Good machine at a great price.

The actual height is 18", which is almost 2" taller than what is stated on the box (16 1/5") and on the website (also 16 1/5").

The actual width is 9 15/16", which is close enough to 9.9", which is on the box and the website.

The actual depth is 20 3/8", which is about an inch less than the 21.3", which is on the box and the website.

The unit vents out to the sides, not out the back. When you try to build a cabinet around the wine cooler, it will not reach desired temperatures due to insufficient ventilation.The units measurements in the advertisement on Amazon were also incorrect. It said it was 13" deep and 22 inches wide.Actually, it is 13 inches wide and 22 inches deep.I contacted Amazon by phone and let them know of this discrepancy.

While looking for a reasonably priced small capacity wine cooler, decided to give this one a try.

The touch panel controls and temperature control mechanisms are unreliable and I first noticed touch panel strangeness after setting it up.The touch panel was initially non functional but with some fidgeting and taps to the top door hinge and realizing there is a wiring harness under the hinge cover, the touch panel worked but remained somewhat tempermental.

The unit appears to have gotten the temperatures mixed up and ended up activating the heater to heat the wine to a nice toasty temperature of over 85 degrees.I had a separate fridge thermometer to monitor after some initial temperature variances and an overheating incident related to a power outage.Two corks popped with such great force that the door popped open and spilled wine all over the floor.

When the unit worked it was fine and temperature was cool at the 45 and 55 degree settings.However, the unit ended up overheating or activating it's heater function and cooked the wine TWICE... no more going back to amazon after 2 weeks.Look elsewhere as now I am running triage on the 18 bottles of wine to see if they are still drinkable after a cook cycle... A lesson learned while getting into the hobby of wine drinking/storage/enjoyment.

Bought this to supplement a much larger wine refrigerator out in our garage that is only used for reds...this one is for the modest number of whites that we have on hand at any given time. It looks nice in our kitchen and is very quiet. It can hold 44 degrees in the upper compartment and maintain a 10 degree difference between compartments, with the caveat that the thermoelectric cooling cannot attain a temperature that is more than 30 degrees below ambient. What that means is that this fridge is not for use in a garage that can get to 100F+, as the wines would then get above 70F (I haven't tested the heating capability, but assume it is much more capable). There were no instructions for attaching the handle, but even I was able to figure that out. :-)

So I got this product and it makes a loud buzzing noise and the digital display does not work. Up to this point I have never had a problem with electronic products ordered through Amazon but I guess there is a first for everything. If you are looking for a headache and what is clearly inferior manufacturing, go with this product. Otherwise, stay away from this one...

Bottom line: Do not buy this cooler. It's not worth it. The quality is horrible and it will break before a year is over.

If you still want to know why I feel this way: The top part of this "cooler" stopped working in January. I got the unit in October. The top portion "claims" to be able to cool to 44 degrees so I placed my white wine on top and the red wine on the bottom. I set the temperature to 47 but noticed recently that it was 60. Then it climbed to 70. And today was a whopping 77 degrees! It's February (read cold) and not even that warm in my house. My house is at 70 which means that the "cooler" is actually heating my wine. *horrifying* It's less of a wine cooler and more of a wine baker.

In regards to getting it fixed/replaced: The return window from Amazon has closed. They directed me to Home Depot who fulfilled the order. Home Depot did nothing to help me other than transfer me to other phone numbers/associates. The total time on hold/wait exceeded 1 hour. I finally got a hold of SPT. Their phone number is 1.800.330.0388. My problem is exacerbated by the fact that this was a gift from my wedding registry. So I had to hound my gift giver for the order information. Now SPT wants me to drive the fridge to their warehouse so they can inspect and possibly replace. Will post updates.

I needed a new washing machine and this one had good reviews.And it works well.What I was not expecting is to get any use from the 'steam' setting.This is an add-on to some of the cycles, where it uses small amounts of steam to enhance the cleaning.My nice towels had some dirt stains on them, which I had tried many ways of removing (by hand, rubbing in various types of detergents, laundry boosters, ...).Figuring it wouldn't hurt to try, I put these in and selected the steam setting.Noticeably improved!After a second wash with the steam setting, the stains were gone.I am amazed.

Most of the cycle lengths are a reasonable length of time, perhaps 45 minutes to an hour.There is a roughly 15 minute cycle that can be used to freshen up clothing.The steam cycle, though, takes a very long time over 2 hours.It is worth it, but you can't be in a hurry when using it.I like to do that cycle first, since it takes longer than the dryer cycle requires.

The clothes came out cleaner than previous washers and really clean using the steam cycle.It has a speed wash cycle for small loads that only takes 15 minutes.Some cycles are long but worth it. Very automated even weighing the clothes and adjusting the time prior to washing.Uses extremely little water and very high spin cycle.LG has sent several e-mails explaining how to operate and care for the washer.The washer had an additional cardboard box that was added around the factory box so the washer arrived in perfect condition. Very happy with this washer and like the idea of getting it through Amazon.

Love the machine. Love the features! Hate the modification to the laundry room to make it fit. LG did not take into account the necessary room to accommodate attaching hoses to back. They also neglected to include for the curved front that extends beyond the floor measurement. If we were renting we could not have done the necessary modifications to make it fit!

I was really impressed with the washer.Doing a load is so easy and convenient.There's a lot of room to fit a ton in there at one time.My only dislike is the thick rubber guard in the front inside of the washer.If you have women in your household, hair gets left in it and also on the glass door.That's my only problem with it!Other than that it's been great!

This is a basic refrigerator and it basically works.

It was quiet when I bought it but it became VERY noisy after a couple months of use.GE appliances now have a rep now for low quality and expensive parts for repairs.I ignored my own common sense because this was a good deal and was supposed to be quiet.

I would not consider a GE fridge (or other GE appliances) again.

The door handle is prone to staining and difficult to clean too (because of its rough texture).

NOTE: I just had a GE Repair guy check out the noise.He said it sounded like oil or something was in the coolent pipes making a bubbling rapid "farting" (his word) sound.Nothing to be done about it.

ALSO:According to my local dept. of Energy, this model is less efficient than the previous model it replaced (otherwise nearly identical).

Way to go GE. You've sold your legacy for a quick buck.

I bought this refrig at Home Depot because I needed the width and depth and didn't think much else about it.

Glass shelves I like but it is the NOISYEST refrigerator possible.I swear you would think the water is running in my kitchen when it gurgles and comes on and off.VERY LOUD.Also a poor design. On the top front inside the refrig has a bump that lowers the 'ceiling' of the refrig about 2-3 inches so that to get a gallon of milk on the top shelf you have to move the top shelf down to the 3rd rail.I could not find the exact model of mine on amazon but I believe it is a variant of this refrigerator that I am reviewing.My model # is actually: GTH18EBT3RWW

I ordered the wrong size the first time.My fault I guess, I typed in what I was looking for and ordered the first result that came up in prime.I should have double checked to make sure I had the right model, but Amazon replaced it for me with this one.And this works fine, fit was perfect.My original one was clear and you could see the water and filter stuff inside.This is covered in white plastic and had me worried at first but I have not had any issues.I have run several gallons through it.
