I drop a star as the shelf arrangement and door pockets are a little odd. If a couple of bottles or cans are put in the door then this really eats up the space in the fridge. It would be better with no door pockets at all and reducing door depth.
Overall though a good product although it does make a reasonable amount of fan noise.

Definitely is very quiet.Fan runs continually.Cooling mechanism is state-of-the art, but very fragile and poorly constructed. Cooling mechanism is inadequate even for such a small refrigerator.Cooling time for items placed inside is very long hours, because the of the underpowered cooling mechanism.Metal cans a bit faster.Food sealed in platic containiners cool most slowly.Not wise to place items in this fridge that require very rapid cooling to avoid microbial growth.Sealed cans and bottles fine.This fridge does not have a small freezer compartment, because the cooling mechanism is underpowered, and likely not capabile of reaching the freezing point of water even if the cooling mechanism capacity was doubled or tripled.Much better off buying a small conventional fridge which are now adays equally quiet and can do the job.
The cooling mechanism in mine (this model) self-destructed after 18 months.In the recycle bin now.

If you get away from the cheap protective packaging, this small refrigerator works great, and unlike the other reviewer says, it is very quiet relative to other refrigerators. In fact, I have this in my study next to my desk, and the ticking clock on my wall is actually louder. This product does what it is supposed to very well. I am very happy with the Avanti.

We wanted to replace an old frig-freezer in our bar with a frig only (no freezer).The built-in space was just barely enough for the old machine and we wanted something a little smaller. We have a garden and will be storage garden vegetables in here. We were looking for a second frig with a small footprint because it needed to go into the corner of our mud room area between the dining room and the garage. There aren't many on the market this size. I only found one other made by Summit and it was $250.00 more. The unit fit perfectly where I wanted it to go. What a great space saver. Inside has more than enough storage and compartments. The design is typical. I can keep 24 quart bottles of my favorite sparkling beverage on the top shelf and my wife puts all the redundant items like half and half, jarred veggies, and all those items you would like to not keep in the main frig that take up all that space.I won't know for sure on the performance of this until the warmer weather gets here. So my fridge got louder and louder, and recently had lost some cooling in the freezer. Apparently the original motor, which blows on the freezer and is called evaporator fan motor, was loose at the axle, so the fan got caught on its housing.Well it's really model WR60X10141, as it appears on this and the original GE motor. Only the documentation refers to WR60X10046, but either way I wasn't able to find a GE-made replacement. This is working as expected so far. Will update if it stops.
