I ordered this item for my Kenmore Dishwasher the top Rack had broken after 8 Years of use and I wanted to fix it. A quick search helped me to discover the correct part number and some price comparison helped me to prove that Amazon had the best price.4 Stars because the part was about 5 days late but that can't be helped sometimes and you can't complain with free shipping.The vendor was really good any time I contacted them. I bought two because the other one was just as old and by the time the parts arrived I needed both. The part was installed in seconds and the dishwasher is back in business.

About 6 months later the parts are failing.The blue clips seem to be inferior as compaired to the original equipment.The blue plastic is bending under the weight of an average top shelf load of dishes. I wrote the vendor and I was told that there was no warranty replacements because it was too long ago that I had ordered the part however they would be happy to sell me another set. Instead I took the wheels off of the new parts and repaired the original parts with the wheels from the new parts. I hope the wheels last longer than the adjusting clip.
After one month, this refrigerator/freezer seems PERFECT for our walk-in closet!It is hugely better than our previous item, a one-door unit that just couldn't seem to freeze solid the freezer items without also freezing the upper shelf refrigerator items.Now, our frozen items are solid, and refrigerator items wonderfully cold, but not frozen!It is quiet!We are thrilled with it's performance so far.....our only remaining question is longevity.....time will tell!
Crisper frame is plastic, it would have been better if it had been re-inforced in some manner.It works fine as long as you do not put a small turkey on that shelf.
Total "no brainer" removal of old filter and installation of new one. A simple fractional turn and you're done.Another example of Fisher Paykel's user friendly products.
The filter met our expectations. It was easy to install our new filter. Our only caveat was that the filter seems somewhat overpriced when ordered from Fisher Paykel directly as opposed to other vendors.
Our icemaker was repaired in a short time by my husband.He took his iPad and took pictures as he went along of the parts he removed.Then, when he replaced the motor, he played back his pictures so that he would get all of the parts back correctly.The icemaker works PERFECTLY now!!!!!
This was exactly the part we needed and very easy to install. I would have fixed our dispenser a year ago if I would have known how easy it was.

I did not fix my ice crusher because I thoght it would be to difficult a job.I like crushed ice and did not want to wait for a repair guy all day so I decided to try to fix it on my own.About 4 screws and unplug the old, plug in the new,and it was fixed.
I ordered this wine cellar to replace one that had stopped working. My old one was also a 6 bottle cellar but when I compared the dimensions listed here on Amazon,this one was bigger. It was 3 inches taller.I almost didnt order it for this reason.I searched for a few days and decided to go ahead and purchase this one. After ordering, I spent half the day moving things around to find a new place for this larger unit. I received my order yesterday . I was shocked when I took it out of the box and set it beside the old one . They were IDENTICAL in size!It appears to me that the dimensions listed on this include the SHIPPING BOX!!
This wine cellar is quiet and cooling perfectly. I am very happy with my purchase. The dimensions of this wine cellar are 20 inches deep X 14.5 inches tall X 10 inches wide .
I purchased this chiller to age homemade cheese in. Most of the cheese we make has to age for several weeks to several months at certain temps. This little chiller will fit the bill to a T. Actually we can have wine and cheese any time now. Great little cooler.
Very pleased with this unit so far. Exterior digital display makes it easy to keep and eye on the temp. The temp selector is an analog dial inside the unit, and doesn't have numeric scale, so there's some trial and error to get the right temp, but overall works well. The unit is out in our garage that fluctuates with the outside temp, and overall does a very good job maintaining temp, even when it's up into the 80s and 90s outside. Will be purchasing a 2nd one shortly so we can have a red and white cellar at different temps.
I bought this to age cheese and wine in, per another review.It works great.The temp is controlled by a knob inside the unit, so you may have to do a little trial and error to get it to where you need it.Not bad at all.
To start with, I'm not a wine cona "sewer".I don't know that much about it and would never pay a lot for it.Crown Royal is my drink of choice.However, I saw this wine deal from Wall Street Journal.The introductory offer was about 15 bottles for about $90 with no shipping charges.This is about $6 a bottle which is in my league.Every 3 months or so they offer you some more but not so cheaply.You can cancel at any time.(Wish it was that easy with marriage!)So I ordered it.The bottles have nice labels and many foreign pedigrees.
While drinking that first bottle, I decided to investigate wine chillers again.I had looked several years ago and Consumers Reports had reviewed many, mostly bad.I looked again and Consumers has rated only the expensive, $1500, models.I would never pay that.So, I started looking at Amazon.This model seemed to have good reviews and the price was good.(At that time, it was $62 with free, Amazon Prime, shipping.Now, the price is not so good.)
I kinda wanted the nickel finish but someone wrote that the whole unit wasn't nickel so I opted for this black one, a little cheaper, and, it would go okay in our kitchen.The unit was very well packed in an extra heavy cardboard box and enclosed in Styrofoam.I thought the quality was excellent.It fits very nicely on our kitchen counter, not taking up very much room.It has an internal LED lite that you can turn off if you want.It's not enough light to read the bottle labels but it is really cool looking when you have your friends over.
Haier seems to be pretty well known for making refrigeration units.This unit, however, does not have a compressor.It uses thermoelectric cooling, conversion of electricity into cooling.As such, it could be more reliable (and smaller) and quieter.You might compare this unit to a Styrofoam cooler with ice on the bottom.There aren't any coils in the sides, bottom, or top of this unit.Maybe a negative is that the unit runs all of the time to maintain the desire cooling.
The manual states that the internal temperature is a function of the external temperature.This makes sense if you again think of this unit as similar to a Styrofoam cooler.We keep our home at about 70 degrees.I found that the min and max temperatures of this unit were 47 and 63 degrees which is agreement with the manual specifications and covers what I found on the internet to be a recommended range for wine chilling 43 to 65 degrees.For me, if it contains alcohol and I want it, I will drink it no matter what its temperature is!The temperature adjustment is a simple knob.Those that desire more precision should perhaps opt for a digital model.
As far as the Wall Street Wine goes, I was disappointed.I thought that the big W Mart wine, going for $4, was much better.One reviewer complained about noise from this unit.There is some noise from the fan which runs all the time, but, unless you live in a mortuary, any noise would probably be overcome by your refrigerator, TV, or kids.At the price I paid, I was thinking about buying more units simply for storage of something!It is pretty cool looking!
Unless you think you can drink more than 6 bottles a day, when even I, a serious drinker, can't, I think this unit is a good choice.With the price increase I have just seen, you might evaluate other units.I definitely think that a non-compressor unit is the way to go for small (and cheap) coolers.

When I first purchased the Whirlpool side-by-side I thought this was a great fridge and for the first 16 months it functioned fine.Then of all days on April 1st (I know April fool) the refrigerator simply stopped cooling and I could hear the compressor engage and run for a brief period and then turn off.Service confirmed my worst fears that the compressor did indeed fail and would have to be replaced at a cost of $600.
THE WARANTEE FROM WHIRLPOOL IS ONLY FOR ONE-YEAR ON ALL PARTS INCLUDING THE COMPRESSOR so I basically have a worthless box.Calls to Whirlpool simply result in meaningless apologies with the response they will do nothing to rectify the problem.If you check the warantee from other manufacturers such as LG or Samsung you will find that the "sealed cooling system" is guaranteed at least 5 years.
My advice is to stay away from Whirlpool for they will not back their product.And remember they also make Maytag and Amana.And this is from a long time Whirlpool customer.
In this price range, I don't think you will find another fridge with all these features, and with stainless steel.The few reviews you will find, are mostly positive.If you look hard enough, you can find some bad reviews, which are mostly true.One, I found the fridge to be noisy, UNTIL, I trouble shot it one night and found out the annoying buzzing sound that came on when the condenser fan came on, was due to a vibration on the back panel near the floor, rather than a noisy fan motor.I should pull it away from the wall, and look for the vibrating part, but I just carefully wedged a small wood shim(2 wooden close line pins without the spring) underneath the bottom bar on the back of the fridge. NOW IT IS QUIT..
Another negative you will see, is an ice maker that clogs and is troublesome.Especially when going from cubed to crushed ice.I didn't find this, but I did find an occasional issue that sometimes when I go for a cup of ice, it doesn't dispense ice at first, and I have to remove my glass, and reapply.This always works fine.One thing I do notice fairly regularly, is that you sometimes get a 1/4 cup of water out of the ice dispensor before it dispenses ice.
Fit and finish, is an issue, but not for me.The right door is a 1/4 inch higher than the left, and so is the handle, but I don't really mind that.
Another issue I found is a complaint about the vegatable bins not being on rollers and hard to move.They aren't on rollers, but I haven't had an issue with them.One issue I did notice however, is that if you have something heavy on the shelf in the middle, say a large gallon or more of apple cider, the shelf tends to bow slightly.
Altogether, if the fridge lasts.I will be happy with my purchase.If the ice maker jams, I am confident in my abilities to fix it.The whole contraption comes out, which is handy.If it clogs, take it out, and let it thaw out on the counter.
If you find it is noisy(a buzzing sound) pull it out from the wall, and while the compressor runs, move your finger around on the card board on the back to see if you can isolate the sound.
Have had this for about three years, and not an operational problem in that time. At the time it was the only fridge that would fit in the opening of the older home we purchased. Yes, the freezer side is somewhat narrow, but there's still quite a bit of space. Things I like that aren't on all (even more expensive) units: separate paddles for water and ice, and the ability to leave on the water cavity light (two brightness settings). When I come out in the middle of the night half-asleep it's nice not to have to change settings like on some single-paddle units. Also the water filter is a snap to change and located out in the open, as opposed to some fridges having them inside where you have to remove food to get at it.
Realistically you could spend 2-3x's (or more) on a fridge. For what this costs it's a nice unit. We have called Whirlpool before for service (for Kitchenaid products, not this) and their service has been top-notch, unlike Samsung.
Bottom door hinges are exposed and are unsightly (I did not notice this in the store).
Bins are cheaply made and hard to move (no rollers). I put a small amount of salad oil on sliders which helped.
Very poor manual. I replaced a Whirlpool refrigerator and had to use the manual that came with that one.
The door handles are poorly constructed with a gap between the handles and the caps.

Pros:
We haven't found it to be at all noisy as some of the other posters have mentioned. It's very quiet.
It does a good job of cooling consistently throughout the unit. Our last refrigerator froze food in some areas of the refrigerator section, and didn't keep some areas cool enough. This unit does not have this issue.
We like the water and ice dispenser. You can have cubes, crushed ice, or ice cold water. We like that there's a water filter built in to the unit, and it is easy to change.
The design is convenient and spaced out nicely.
It's run smoothly with no issues at all.
We find it to be nice looking.
Cons:
The drawers are flimsy. One draw continually gets stuck and it's hard to open and close. It actually cracked because it was sticking.
So the pros are stronger then the cons by far, and based on our experience, I'd say that it's a decent choice for the money.
