I bought this icemaker to replace the icemaker that wasn't working in my 2003 side-by-side Frigidaire fridge.It looked the same as the one I had, but it wasn't the same part #, so I took a chance and bought it.IT WORKS GREAT!It took me 2 minutes to remove the old icemaker and install this one (literally).All you have to do is loosen the two screws on the side, lift the icemaker off the screws (brackets on the side) and then unplug the wiring adapter.It really is that simple.This price was a third of what I found elsewhere.If you need a new icemaker...this is one Do It Yourself that you really can do!

We've got a 20+ year old refrigerator/freezer and the ice maker has gone kaput.After much research, Frigidaire told me that this was the model I needed; but, after buying it, it was clear the connectors are different.Wasn't sure if it could be wired by an electrician, but going deeper into the Frigidaire ranks of technicians, I was told that the differing power requirements could start a fire, so I, unfortunately, had to return it.Note to others: if you have a really old refrigerator, ask Frigidaire to send you a picture of the connector before you buy so you can see if you have a chance of getting them to match.I wish I had.

Easy to install....perfect replacement for our 15 year old ice maker.Just made the connections using the adapter enclosed with the kit-----mounted it onto existing screws inside the freezer----was filling with water within one hour.Thought about troubleshooting parts inside but forbucks and no need to call a plumber, this is a better value!

worked fine form the moment i plugged it in to the freezer wiring harness. an ice maker is supposed to be one of those thiings you never think about because it works in the background. this is the case with this product. i actually hadn't thought about it until i got the email about reviewing the purchase. does what it is supposed to do: freeze water, dump same.

Using the correct model, serial numbers from the Refrigerator and the part number on the factory ice maker this is the unit that was suppose to replace it.Not even close Wrong side for water inlet, Mounting bracket will not mount correctly.I even tried to change out the motor, timer and switches and use the existing housing and etc.The only thing that would change out is the two switches.Not satisfied.

Shipped promptly and was set up inside the house. The unit has no rollers under it just leveling feet.The compressor and fan are fairly quiet when they come on.Shelves accommodate various size bottles including chardonnay, pinot noir and thick glass bottles.Did not have issues with the fit being so tight that it scraped the labels off. When I first received this wine cooler it worked great. Loved the layout and the dual controls. But after a couple years in service the compressor went out. Fortunately we had an extended warranty that covered the costs. About 1/2 a year later the cooler was down again. This time the warranty was up and the parts were on backorder. The cooler was down about 45 days before we received the parts (Which were very expensive). That brings us up to now and the cooler is down again, only this time the parts will be 2-3 months. My feeling is that a company is only as good as its service and Avanti gets and F. They do not returns calls. The local repair shop--their "authorized service tech"--is at wits end trying to get the parts for us. Well, after reviewing the cost of the new parts, we finally decided that to repair it again would be too expensive...so it becomes junk!

I bought a 3 pack of these and could not be more dissatisfied. The water tasted horrible (extremely chemically) from the very first glass (after the 3 minutes flush that was recommended). I used the first filter for about 1 month and the horrible taste was just as strong as the first glass. I am throwing this one (along with the other 2 that came in the pack) away. I went to Best buy and bought a factory Frigidaire filter and the water is back to tasting amazing, crisp and clean. If you shop around online you can find factory filters for less. But remember, you get what you pay for. This has been a $23 lesson to never buy cheap water filters.

we saw the positive reviews here and thought 'how bad can it be?' well let me tell you *beyond bad it's awful*. we have had our Frigidaire fridge for 5 years. used pure source filters from an online filter vendor since. this time, when i stumbled upon the RG100 generic filters here, read some positive reviews (and especially noting the price), i decided to give it a shot. result was a week of awful tasting water that did not improve with continued use. we tried to be patient with these filters. thought they would improve with time. but we ended up pouring gallons of water down the sink in vain. it got to the point that when a guest asked for a glass of water the other day, i felt embarrassed to pour her some. well lesson learned. now i know the $30 expense for the pure source filter is well worth it. we replaced these with said filter from a local store this weekend. thank god for good, clean tasting water. and i must say i am totally confused by the good reviews here.

I received today.Item is slightly shorter than the brand filter.Also the pore size appears to be larger than the brand.It did seem to fit properly in the unit, so I hope it will filter well.No specs listed for what it removes or particle size, but on close inspection of filters the brand has very fine filter papers beneath the plastic netting and the generic one here does not (At least not visible from outside).Much cheaper though, so hopefully quality will be sufficient.Manufacturers should list the filter rates so people know what they are buying.Well cheaper does often mean you give something up.In this taste we did.I can still taste all the dirty water.It taste terrible.At 1st I thought it was do to the needed a flush , not.Poor sizes much larger than on brand.From the physical this is a particle filter only.Spend more on a better product.

After using this, I am very dissatisfied with the product.However the company has told me they will replace or refund my money.I will choose to refund.Not the bargain I thought.

First: This in no way is a 62 can beverage cooler. Unless you have all the same drinks stored, there is no way that you can fit 62 cans and still reach the ones in the back without having to remove all the ones in front.

Second: I use this in my dorm room, and it is very loud--sometimes obtrusively so. It makes a very high pitched whining noise as the compressor vibrates. My friends who have much cheaper and larger refrigerators do not have this same problem.

Third: The items in no way get as cold as a normal, full size refrigerator. Although I did expect this, even at the highest level of "coldness" this refrigerator is not what I had expected. It does keep everything cool, but certain items such as milk will not keep very long since the bacteria grow faster in the warmer environment. This aspect of the refrigerator was disappointing.

I rate this as a 3 star because, even with its flaws, it is a very nice looking unit. I wanted something that was visually appealing, and that is what I got. Its a nice fridge, but for the same amount of money (plus S&H) I can get a much larger fridge at my local "big box" store that even has a separate freezer.

Do I have buyer's remorse? Occasionally, yes.

This refrigerator looks great but functions poorly. When I first purchased it it was freezing my water bottles in the back. After about two weeks it barely keeps the water cool (at the highest setting). It really is a poorly working refrigerator. Save your money...plus there is no light for it. I would have wanted a light to see my beverages through the glass door better.
