I actually bought one of these from Sears...I was looking for the OEM replacement but they actually carried the Brita brand too.Since they were the same price I went for the Brita.It's been about a month now and it seems fine.Water is crystal clear and tastes good.Same for the ice.I definitely recommend this filter.

I bought my first house with all new appliances about four years ago, and decided to stick with the OEM Whirlpool refrigerator filter the first several times before giving a name brand one a try. I'd heard good things about Brita pitcher filters, so I decided to go with it.

The Whirlpool ones had tasted funny and included a few particles at first; I followed the directions and ran a gallon or two through it right after install to cut down on it. The longest it lasted was usually a couple weeks. But it lasted a few months with this Brita one. My wife drinks water with almost every meal, and she refused to drink it until it had been in use for almost three months, whereas she couldn't tell the difference after a week or two with the Whirlpool filters.

It should be noted that the water tastes great now, so I gave it three stars.

Don't know if I got a bad unit or what, but I'll be going back to the Whirlpool OEM filters the next time the yellow light comes on.

The filter works just as good as the manufacturer one for a lower price you can't find anywhere. Once you install the filter you must throw at least 1 or 2 gallons of water or until the water looks clean of particles from the water dispenser before drinking out of it.After using it for awhile you'll begin to taste cleaner water.

Not too loud, small but can hold large drink items in door, this handsome little fridge has a real freezer, not just a cube tray in a compartment. So far, so good. They say to give it a LOT of room around it, we have less than the suggested 3-4inches but the unit doesn't put out too much heat and it has been summertime.

This seemed like a good mini-fridge for a 12'*16' building we had constructed near the pool, where we use it just to keep a few beers and sodas cold.The stainless steel is hard to find in this price range.Unfortunately, even with such light usage the compressor seems to run constantly; I can't remember going into the building and not hearing it.Last week I plugged it into an energy monitor device for an objective view, and sure enough it's an energy hog.Maybe it's because it's in an unshaded spot, but the structure is insulated and not hot to sit in (we have a home theater, bathroom, and shower room in this "man cave").Will update this review as we go through autumn, just to see if the season shift changes things.

Our Accounting Dept has limited space and this little guy tucks in just fine in a corner behind one of the doors here. It's great to have a mini-fridge that is exactly that a mini version of a full sized refrigerator.

Its just like a large fridge only smaller.I am currently using it as a beverage fridge underneath a bar counter.I have the freezer section to hold ice and the lower section to hold beverages ( nice six can stacker in the door ).Controls are easy and the finish is fine.I would recommend this as a beverage fridge or a small emergency fridge.

Even though the refriferator section is a little smaller than the old one-door version we had, it's worth it to have the seperate freezer section.The freezer section in the one-door model was bascially useless.it didn't keep things frozen enough and it was constantly in need of defrost.The fridge is very sharp looking and fits perfectly under the counter.

Been dealing with a spilling, freezing, iceberg problem for years, this was the fix. Also, someone else said two screws, not true, just take out the screw on the left, pull the entire assembly towards you, there are two screws with offsets that do not need to be removed at all. Then unplug, reverse procedure.3 minutes tops.

I had problems with my LG Icemaker, and the pricing here on Amazon is very favorable for the replacement unit.

I would suggest, however, that before buying this new unit, press the "TEST" button on the bottom right side of the unit.My icemaker just stopped cycling.No water spilling, or no water, or warped tray.It just refused to resume cycling after I removed and replaced the bucket to clear an ice jam.I was about to buy a new part when I took the unit out make sure I could replace it.I noticed a TEST button, reconnected the electrical connector and pressed that button, and it immediately cycled.I don't know whether that button reset the controls or if something was jammed and it forced it to cycle.The unit has been working for several days.You can press that button without even taking the unit out; just take the bucket out and look underneath on the right side.And make sure the ON-OFF button is switched ON!

Item was exactly what I needed to start making ice again. Installation took around five minutes. The product arrived in a timely fashion.

This is our second LG fridge.The first was purchased in 2007.We started having problems right away...seemed like the repair person was here every 6 months.Finally,the last problem was insurmountable and after 2 weeks of "camping" with ice chests, LG at long last replaced the fridge with this model. We were thrilled and the fridge arrived 4-18-2011.On June 1st, it just died. Turned out to be a defective main circuit board.Part ordered.Next day, we were informed that the part was out of stock, not in for 4 weeks.Hmmm, part out of stock....what does that tell you? An all too common problem? It has now been 7 days and we are waiting to see what LG will do for us.They do not plan to reimburse us for all the ice we've purchased or for some of the food that has gone bad.Totally unacceptable time to keep a customer in limbo. Buyer beware!

We physically checked out several fridges in local stores and looked on-line including consumer reports.This was significantly larger than the fridge it replaced.We really like the freezer at the bottom w/ the divider (meats on one side, ice cream/dessert type stuff on the other).The slide out shelves are very cool; it's nice when you have a big jug of milk to pull out. There is also an abundance of drawer space.

I was concerned purchasing a large appliance on-line but it went great.It took a little more than a week to arrive.Two guys came in a truck in the 4 hour timeframe given.They were in and out w/in 30 minutes.The fridge was in perfect condition everything was taped into position.We saved $200-$300 by purchasing off Amazon as opposed to the local box store.

We are very happy w/ the purchase.

Purchased in January 2011. We like the style and layout of this refrigerator. Unfortunately, the ice maker went out after one month. LG is the only manufacturer that requires you to submit a a form to request in-home warranty service. You can't just call a local authorized service company yourself. Then, when they get around to it, LG contacts a service rep to come fix the problem. It's been five days and haven't heard from LG. I won't be purchasing any additional LG appliances.

I'm not sure the other reviewers are talking about this particular LG.Consumer Reports has this specific model as #2 over dozens of other models.We love ours. The LED light is wonderful. Easy access. Extremely quiet.I don't know about LG's customer service that other reviewers are concerned with as we haven't had to deal with them.But the refrigerator itself is fantastic. And you can get deals less than Amazon's price.

I did a lot of research before purchasing.Key things you need to know.

I bought a new house and we had to take the front door off it's hinges to get it in.(thank goodness I went with a great local company).It barely fit into the alcove for the fridge. (1/16" to spare... maybe.)

We bought this because we loved the layout and the 414kwh is just awesome.You can never hear that it's on.

After a lot of research the only flaw on this machine was the ice maker splatters/leaks. The installers or the default turned it on and it indeed splattered for us.We turned it off.I was expecting this issue and disappointed we had it, but I wasn't planning to us that anyway (although it might have been nice).

The room is spacious and you can see everything.LOVE it.

My wife is a 90lbs weakling and couldn't lift the gallon milk out of the door shelf.Something to keep in mind if that's important but you'd likely run into that with any Fridge where milk is placed at that height.

I have no other complaints and I'm incredibly happy.The four stars is because of the water issue with the ice tray and if it was important to me it would probably be lower, but I knew what I was getting into going into it so it was a non-issue.

Oh, the sides are grey and you can see the unit in person at home depot (at least we could).We purchased through a local furniture company called RC Willeys because the pricing was better and they offered full assembly with their delivery and $35 gave us a year of deliveries.Incredibly thankful considering what an issue getting the fridge in was.I didn't even think to measure the door because it was a new house even though I measured the alcove.

If you want a plain jane fridge and this can fit, this is the fridge for you.If an ice maker is important then you should probably pass or be prepared to deal with the warranty people about it.

Our fridge is the Kenmore Elite (made by Whirlpool) with black sides and what would normally be called 'black' plastic handles & trim.We had to return this part because it was very dark black and didn't match.We reordered the "gray" (J code) and that color matches.The gray is very dark charcoal gray, however.I'm giving 4 stars because it was impossible to tell the color difference from the pictures or the description.

Also, both boxes were ripped open at one end (delivered by USPS).The black-black one was loose in the box and fell out when I picked it up off the porch.The grey-black one had been wrapped in a UPS (not USPS) bag and jammed into the box so it wouldn't fall out.

I was to the point where I wanted to buy a new fridge, I couldn't get rid of the smell.I don't know what caused it, but I tried cleaning it with bleach, Odo-Ban, comet, ammonia, Mr.Clean with Febreeze, hydrogen peroxide mixed with water.... I bought this for a small 2 man office. It's light weight and being a 56 year old woman I was able to easily remove it from it's packaging and put it in the spot I wanted. I love that it has an inside light and glass shelves, it makes it easy to see the contents of the fridge. I've had it for 3 weeks now and it's perfect. The only thing I was not happy about was the delivery, they called me to set up delivery and then came earlier then we planned and left it with someone in a different office in a different building. Fortunately the office they left it in had a dolly and to my amazement I was able to roll it over to my building with hardly any effort. Not what I wanted to do, but at least I didn't have to pay someone to come move it for me.

Satin 5 Spray Shower Water Filter Head with Massage SH-SF-5 by Sunbeam

I just purchased the 5 spray sunbeam shower head with massage and filter features....

My order arrived in just a few days...and my boyfriend installed this in about five minutes....the water pressure and flow span are both decent... I did notice that the temperature changes just a tad when i switched threw some of the settings...but over all so far this shower head seems okay...

If your a lady looking for a "strong pulsation" show head (wink,wink) this may not be the best shower head for the job...due to the way the water flow falls...but it can still do that job also...just not the best...

but when its on full blast its great for removing shampoo from your hair super quick!

I got this in hopes that the filter will help with itchy winter skin... and help keep my hair dye color from fading...i will keep u updated!
