When I asked a number of repair services whether they service Edgestar they said they didn't either.
So, if you buy this keep in mind that you probably aren't going to be able to get it repaired.
It's interesting that Edgestar is owned by, and only sold by, CompactAppliance which is part of Living Direct. If you are considering buying a the New Leaf Service Pro warranty offered by Compactappliance and Amazon, note that New Leaf was only started in Sept 2012 (It is also based in Texas).

I had one of these mini-fridges when I was in school and I loved it.It broke on me recently, so I replaced it with this one.IT IS LOUSY!!I couldn't actually try it because it only came with the car charger.To use it anywhere besides the car, you need to special order the adaptor.It will cost $19.95 for the adaptor and $5.95 to ship it.And it would take 2 4 weeks to arrive!This is ridiculous!I am sending mine back.Don't be fooled.If you want to use a mini fridge in a dorm room or office, THIS IS NOT THE PRODUCT FOR YOU!!
I should have listened to the first review that said there was no adapter, instead of the second review that implied there was one.I figured that since the power supply was even shown in one of the pictures, surely it was included.I consider this ad to be extremely deceptive, and far below Amazon's standards.
I was getting this fridge to replace one a lot like it that my wife loved until it stopped working.When this one got here (with the 12V car cord only), I discovered that there was no 12V power supply with it, so it was useless to her in her office.Now I need to pay another $26 for the power supply.In the meantime, I have figured out (by using the 12V cord in the car) that both fridges work, and it was a bad power supply all along.If we still had the box, I'd return this fridge.

This touch up paint was exactly what it said it was. The color was a really close match. It was easy to use.The paint goes on well and dries quickly.It seems to last well as we have not been able to rub through it while cleaning the stove.

As a previous Viking wine fridge owner, I've been spoiled. I wasn't expecting anything close given the fraction of the cost.I was duly pleased by what I got in this dual zone wine fridge.The wine fridge shipped via freight which was a nice surprise.I would not have enjoyed receiving this delivery if had to get beat up by UPS package delivery.Scheduling the delivery ahead of time was also way more convenient than getting that annoying door tag when you miss the delivery.So it was off to a good start.
Packaging was plain but sturdy enough for the item.Handle bar had to be installed and was easy enough. Nice handle bar actually. Easy to grip with no sharp corners.The shelving is very very nice.It's wood trimmed metal shelving, which actually gives it more space in the interior. The shelves are fully removeable and I'm actually no using the bottom most shelf. I store my larger bottle on the bottom. Storage0wise it fits 28 750ml bottles with no problems. I'm actually surprised I a 15" dual zone unit could fit that many bottles.If you want to put larger bottles, just remove the bottom most shelf on either
The actual installation was easy enough and I actually had this put into my library/bar room.Fits well and appears to be ADA compliant with the height, not something I was specifically looking for but was fine with me.The lighting is very sleek. Never realized white LED lighting could look this fancy. Each zone has it's one lighting to it's adequately illuminated.Controls are easy enough and the display is fairly true to actuals based on some basic comparison I did with an oven thermometer.Both zones are pretty distinct and good at keeping their own set temps.The unit itself also runs fairly quiet. I do use the room as a study at times and have not noticed it running in the background. I did catch it cycling once, but it's for the most part subtle.Forgot to mention that the lock on the unit itself was a plus especially with teenagers in the house!The one negative I had was the clarity of the temperature display, slightly difficult to read in lowlight situations.
This is actually a interestingly premium type wine refrigerator that may not have every single refinement of your top end fridges but is certainly not lacking in style and performance. Given the relative price, this is actually a really decent buy.

I live in a 1 bedroom apartment in Hollywood CA. I have an in wall ac unit like most people do out here and no A/C in my bedroom. So I decided to try this out.... Well I couldn't be happier. Even with my window closed this fan is strong enough to keep me cool. I usually don't even put water in it but if you want it to be cold get 2 gallons of water put them in the fridge for a day then throw them in this thing. Will make it even colder. I get very hot very very easily and still have no problem with it. Love it!

I purchased this product because my office tends to be around 5 degrees higher than I'm comfortable with.I looked around for a protable air conditioner, but since I did not have a place to vent that was rulled out plus they are really expensive.I read all the reviews and decided to take a chance on this product.My office is only 150 SF so the room is small, plus there is air-conditioning in my office.I am in the NorthEast so our summers are hot and humid.
The Cooler is definately working and dropping my office tempurature around 5 degrees just enough to make it comfortable.The cooler packs that they provide help keep the water cold and produces a very fine mist (I can feel it sometimes but it does not impact paperwork)
The only reason I did not give the product a full five starts is that it has a small "tinkling" sound when the water is running though it's cooling process.Makes me need to "tinkle" myself.
I don't think this product would work outside in the humidity in the northeast but if you need an office or cubicle that needs a bit of cooling this product works great.

It's now 9 months since we bought these for our neighbour above us. The neighbour is still very happy with less vibration in his own unit and my wife now continues to sleep through the odd hours that the neighbour chooses to do their laundry. I purchased these because I have an LG front loader that sits on a second floor with wood floors and also sits in a white plastic floor protector. The washing machine would jump all around and vibrate like crazy. We never had this problem in our previous home. I worked multiple times trying to level the washer, but it would never really help. I wished these worked, but they made shaking and vibrating worse at our place.We have new (2012) Frigidaire Affinity front loader stacked washer and dryer.We bought these pads when we installed new porcelain floors.We wanted to reduce the amount of vibrating and wobbling during the spin cycle and protect any chance of damage to the new floors.Unfortunately, the Vibe Away pads made the vibrating, shaking and noise during the spin cycle much worse.We keep a few items on top of the washer and there is always some vibrating, but with the pads added, things we keep on top of the dryer were actually falling off.I even called the offices in New Jersey for ideas.They were as surprised as we were that the pads weren't helping.Their best recommendation was that the washer feet were off center in the pads.We adjusted to make sure they were centered, but it made no difference. I'm sorry to give the product low stars, but they simply didn't work for us.

I have a top loader that likes to roam around the laundry room. These recycled rubber hockey pucks are cheap and stopped my washers inability to remain in one place. There is a slight odor of new tires but this will fade after a few days. If only the manufactures could build a washer that doesn't shake like a paint shaker. Good filter easy to install, when you do install be careful and don't loose the small clips that lock in the supply line and when you turn water on it will be black for a little while but will go away because it is a charcoalfilter

I bought this product hoping to save a few bucks, go green, and also because my local Sears was out of stock of my particular filter.I followed the instructions, including the instruction to soak the filter in water for 15-20 mins before installing which seemed extremely odd to me.I found that the filter did not "easily" install, took quite a bit more effort than the standard Sears/Kenmore brand filter.Thankfully I did not damage my refridgerator.
As you normally would (to release trapped air), I ran water through the system after installing the new filter and was not happy to find that the water coming out of my fridge was black!I ran approximately 1+ gallons of water through the system and the color of the water lightened up a bit, but was still a very dark color.Needless to say, I removed the filter and reinstalled the previous Kenmore brand filter, ran a few gallons throught the system and was happy to see the water color return to normal.
One positive aspect of this entire ordeal was the return process.DeepDiscountsco had no issues accepting the return and refunded the full amount I originally paid.They also refunded my return shipping.Gave the extra 2nd star as a credit to their very friendly returns people.
I bought this based soley on price.While it states compatable with 9990 style filters, this does not fit in my fridge, and while installing, damaged the receiver, requiring an visit from the repairman.I thought I was going to save some money.I shall only buy these parts from the Sears store from now on.

The design is the same as the more expensive one and it lasts just as long!!This container was installed via instructions given by the manufacturer.My whole family noticed a plastic taste in the water, which wasn't noticed until after this device was installed.Stick with the carbon filters if you enjoy drinking good quailty water.This device didn't work for me!I should have returned item for a refund.

The inside drawers are made of very flimsy thin plastic and will likely not last.The roominess is pretty good and the layout is logical.
