I purchased Electrolux appliances b/c I was hoping to have reliable appliances for the next decade or so.I purchased the warranty b/c I thought occasionally there can be a problem with an appliance and I did't want to have to worry about it.I did not expect that all the appliances would be broken in some way or other in less than 3 years.I have taken mulitple days off from work in order for the repairs to be made.I have not even called to schedule a repair for the beverage refrigerator because I am too upset with Electrolux as it is to pay $500 for the repair.
I would not recommend Electrolux appliances and I would not purchase these appliances again.Very disappointing!The set looks so nice, I was so excited to have a special kitchen but now I wish I had bought something less expensive/less flashy but more reliable.

This item would not make a seal in my refrigerator.The water leaked all over my kitchen floor.Very disappointed.When compared to the real thing, this top has a slightly different shape and it would not mount properly.

I bought three and returned two due to continuous stale water taste. I replaced the third one I purchased after two weeks with EOM filter and after 2.5 gallons water lost stale dirt taste. I probably just purchased a bad one out of a bunch of good ones but that's what I get for buying compatibles that are made in China..
I will order this again from this company.Looks OEM. It fits and works is all the good I can say. The first indication I might have a problem was "Assembled in China" on the filter housing. Water did not taste as good as with an OEM filter, tasted like cold tap water. After less than 2 months of use the flow had diminished greatly. Ice was cloudy unlike OEM. Doubt if there's any charcoal in it. I'll only use OEM from now on, I changed it out with an OEM filter from the appliance store.It works for the refrigerator of u dreams. it doesn't look like it is the one but it really works

Did a lot of research on refrigerators before purchasing this item.Settled on a maytag because I heard bad things about the samsungs, and I figured Maytag has been making friges for a lot longer.From day 1, I have had problems.As soon as it arrived and I plugged it in, it started icing up the fridge part, even on the factory middle of the road settings.I called Maytag and they suggested I turn it down, so I did, then the freezer wasn't cold enough, so I turned it back up, and somehow that fixed the ice problem.Whatever.Then, 2.5 months into ownership, it quit cooling altogether, ruining all my food, and causing frozen dough to rise and make a mess in my freezer.Called Maytag and they sent out a serviceman, conveniently between the hours of 8 and 5.Turned out to be a relay, which of course they had to order and told me they would be out between the same convenient hours of 8 to 5 just to install it.If I did it myself, I was told it would void the warranty.It seems like nothing these days is quality, and everything is nothing more than imported foreign crap.Oh and another thing, whatever water pump this fridge uses to make ice has got to be the loudest one they could find.Its absurd that they think this is acceptable.Won't be buying another Maytag, Whirlpool, Amana, or whatever other junk they slap their various brands on.Save 19% Off
