We have just purchased this little freezer for our camping needs.It arrived timely and was packed very well.It is very powerful (freezes quickly) for a small freezer and is extremely quiet when running (you really have to get close to even tell its on!).I think it is going to be a fine addition to our camper.

Purchased this for a medical research facility to store frozen medications and blood samples.In less than an hour the freezer was at -20 C.It now stays at roughly -30 C with very few temperature fluctuations.It is very small inside 1.1 cu ft, which is what we needed because we have limited space.It is quiet, light and attractive.You can switch the side the way the door opens.The lock is a standard refrigerator door lock.

I'm soon going to start building a custom Tear Drop Trailer From scratch. The kitchen will be the major focus, it will be my own version and totally custom to what I want in a camping kitchen. With a lot of thought and research, I felt as though I wanted a freezer in it rather than a fridge, I can build in a nice cooler as a fridge, keep things frozen and produce ice for the cooler.

Researching a fridge of this size just was not worth the space. Not very dependable for just food. The cooler will be 3 times in vol.

So, if your looking for a freezer of this size, this is it, it will not get warm enough to act as a fridge on low, it is still at zero degrees.

This is exactly what I needed for my project. I can fill it full of ice cube trays and have ice in less than 30 min. Probably 12 trays, thats a bag of ice in the woods. I also have a portable ice maker. So, this would be a backup if needed. At high, it will go to a neg 20 degrees. Running a 12 volt system with ac inverters, space is a must. This is an awesome FREEZER, not a fridge combo.

not sure if it was this or the starter that was out on my refrigerator,capacitor was not within tolerance when tested with a multimeter. but when i shook the old starter it seemed to sound like something was rattling around in there, so could have been both...I think either one of these burning out could have been from the extreme amount of pet hair and buildup of heat around them, could have also been from accidentally leaving the freezer door juuust cracked open overnight and the constant cycling on and off may have burnt them out (i remember them going out not too long after this)

Sure beats having to pay a technician to come and fix it when it is a very simple thing to do

I would give this hood a 5-star review, but the metal grease filters, which protect the exhaust fans from accumulating cooking grease, occasionally fall out and onto our cook top. It has happened in the middle of the night, waking us up.

I've had GE technicians come out 3 times and have called consumer relations. GE consumer relations were not helpful at all. They said a technical manager would call me back to discuss it. After a week and a half, I called back and they told me he hadn't gotten to it yet. Five and a half weeks after my original call to consumer relations, the customer service person briefly talked with the technical manager and came back with a solution that didn't make sense (not even to the technician who eventually came to try to fix it). She would not let me talk with the technical manager directly.

The "solution" they came up with was to bend the grease filters out of shape in order to "make" them stay in place. I think there should be a better solution than that.

Okay, at first I wanted to give this filter a 1 star rating because I thought it was horrible. It was leaking water everywhere, not working correctly, there were white particles in my water, and I thought it was a cheap piece of s***. This is most likely the reason many others here may have given this filter a low rating as well.

But after throwing many items in my kitchen in anger, and slamming my fist against the wall, I decided to read the instructions to see if there was something I missed.

*Note to buyers, always read the instructions first before you decide to install a product.*

So after reading through the instructions, I realized there were a few things I missed that I did not do.

1. You are suppose to immerse the filter in a pot of water for 15 minutes before installing (I'm not sure on the exact reason why but I believe it is to get air bubbles out).

2. After installing the filter, you need to go through like 20 cups of water in order for it to work correctly and for it to be crystal clear and drinkable.

So after much frustration and error on my end, I followed the instructions and my filter is now working beautifully. The water tasted great and is crystal clear like a Caribbean spring. This is a great water filter, at a great price, and it works great, just follow the instructions!!

I give it 5*'s baby!

This refrigerator filter was a good price and it arrived in a very timely manner.I was a little concerned that it would work but it fit just fine and looks like the filter that it replaced.I would definitely buy another filter from this seller.

Upon installing this filter, it leaked unnoticed for a couple days.After removing the filter and reinstalling, the leak has stopped.It seems to be doing the job of filtering o.k.But, who really knows if it is working.
