This was an awesome solution to replace our ice maker that gave out after 8 years! We have a Kenmore refrigerator and after some online research I discovered that it uses a Whirlpool icemaker. Matched up some part numbers and viola, found this God-send! This icemaker was easy to install and comes with extra parts to help solve a variety of issues of why your ice maker isn't working. Luckily, mine was a real easy fix since it only involved the actual icemaker unit and not the pumps or anything external. I simply uninstalled the old one and installed this one. Followed some safety instructions and it was like plug-and-play! I just used the old wire harness and didn't even have to replace any wiring! Good stuff!

Here's a tip... Although this comes with some pretty good instructions, go on youtube and look up some videos on how to replace your icemaker. It really helped me out and saved me some $$$ in having a repair man come out! Good luck!

It just seems that the package was made up of different pieces from different boxes

Electrical wires were loose

The main unit was in a separate box

It just seems this was pieced together

The instruction manual was not for this model

The water pump was leaking , i needed to buy another one

But it worked in the end without a plumber

I did not fix my ice crusher because I thoght it would be to difficult a job.I like crushed ice and did not want to wait for a repair guy all day so I decided to try to fix it on my own.About 4 screws and unplug the old, plug in the new,and it was fixed.

To be clear, the exact model we have is the Profile Arctica PTS25LHP. This exact model is no longer being manufactured by GE. BUT the problem it has is structural and inherent in the size of the door on the 36" wide, 24.6 cf, top freezer GE refrigerator. Simply put: the door is too heavy. We have had our refrigerator for 9 years. It's loud and the motherboard failed once already, as other reviewers on other sites have said but this was after 8 years, which was a pretty good lifespan. Failure of the motherboard manifested in the freezer constantly defrosting itself. We couldn't figure out what was wrong with it (and my spouse is a hardware engineer haha). Who knew a refrigerator had a motherboard? Thankfully, it was an easy fix by the GE repairman. Now, 9 years into ownership, the door started clipping the base grille (plastic piece at bottom) so that it wouldn't close all the way without an extra push. This could be remedied by removing the grille. But then the door sagged so much that it collapsed on its own bottom hinge. Opening the door caused grating of the door against the hinge mechanism. We had to take everything out of the door and manually lift it while closing to make sure it sealed properly. The GE repairman just came today. Good news: We don't need to replace the door. He shimmed the hinge so that the door doesn't contact it when swinging. Bad news: This is not a permanent fix. Loaded up, the door still sags enough to clip the base grille. The repairman said these GE top freezer refigerators have had the sagging door problem "since forever". And the repairman looks to be about 70 years old, so when he says "since forever", I'm thinking he knows what he's talking about. His recommendation: a bottom freezer model or a side-by-side, which he said were structurally more sound. Now, I'm thinking of the old fridge in my mom's garage that's 20+ years old. We all know a fridge like that they lasted forever without a single service call, and their doors did not sag! Okay, so they were smaller and leaked like a sieve. But if we have traded energy efficiency and bells and whistles for a significantly shorter lifespan in appliances, that's not such a good deal either for the pocketbook or the landfills.

This is the second GE dryer I have purchased. The first one is good too. But this one is amazing. It works quiet and quick. Realy love it.

Upon receiving this product it was in a full color printed box for the product but turned inside out.

The unit itself has no branding or markings of manufacturing company anywhere on it.

The timer is a basic dial that will count-down similar to some of the wind-up devices on children's toys.The point of concern is the pointer will turn Counter-Clockwise past the Zero mark and is sloppy in the chassis at this point.

Bottom line...it works.There are no problems with its functionality and seems to be reliable as I have been using it daily for about 2 weeks.There are little cosmetic and tactile control issues but other than that it is a functioning unit.

No major issues.

I purchased my Whirlpool duet front-loading washer (model# GHW9250MW1) back in June of 2004. I recently noticed a number of holes in the washers door seal.After doing a lot of research I decided to take on the project myself instead of paying for a service call. The price I paid on Amazon was by far the cheapest I could find and it was a genuine Whirlpool part.Of course the information I collected in regards to installing the baffle made it look a little easier than it actually was but after all was said and done it took me just under 45 minutes and that included extra cleaning while the machine was apart. The best reference I can suggest is a YouTube video "Duet/HE3 Washer Door Boot Seal Replacement (part #8182119)".It steps you through the process with the basics.I would strongly recommend this product and I had no issues with the seller at all.

This was the fix to my problem.The door seal on our washer completely corroded through ending up with a hole in the bottom, thus water leaking everywhere.I ordered this door seal to replace it, and it was the perfect match, and it was shipped quickly!Now I'm waiting for the arrival of a new water inlet valve to stop the water leak that probably caused the first door seal to corrode.:)

This seal had to be purchased last year, and now again just a year later. Seems the manufacturer is in it for the bucks because we've only had the washer for three years and now on the third seal...and we don't overload it, the seal is just very thin. Unfortunately, unless we can purchase a new washer, our hands are tied. But the seller we purchased it from is great.

My suggestion? Don't buy a front load washer...period.

Very suprised to find this valve made in China! This company claims "genuine Frigidarire product" however the original valve that I removed was made by Invensys and is a product of Mexico. First apperance of the Invensys valve seems to be of much higher quality. Its larger and has threaded water line connectors as opposed to the Chineese version that has push on water connecter. These lines are under pressure and may violate some local building codes because water pressure may force these lines back out. I may have saved $15-$20 for this valve but if known it was of Chineese origin I would have bought the original product made under Figidaire control. I view this as a counterfit product and all products sold on line should be labeled with country of origin.
