Hello Kitty 0.7 Cubic Feet 700 Watt Microwave - MW-07009

This is the second HK microwave that I received because the first one died. This one caught on fire! BEWARE!!!

My girlfriend and I needed a microwave. This one is pink. It's also Hello Kitty. That's the only reason we own it because she wouldn't let me get anything else (cue whipping sound). It's the worst microwave I've ever used. The 1-9 buttons stand for 1-9 minutes of cook time and the start button adds 30 seconds. Specific second intervals cannot be used. When done, a loud and annoying beeping noise to signal it being finished is repeated five whole times and cannot be canceled unless you stop the microwave prior to finishing. After just a couple weeks, the clock becomes a few minutes fast and has to be adjusted constantly. The cooking process itself seems weak on full power and everything about the construction feels cheap. It just reeks of being a Hello Kitty money magnet first and an actual microwave last (big suprise!). It gets 2 stars because it looks nice in the pink themed kitchen we have and it makes my girlfriend happy. We bought it on sale at Target for $40. Do not spend $100 on this if you are looking for a half decent operational microwave.

I just bought it as a gift for my 14 year old daughter. it works perfectly. and the best thing of all; She Loves It!!!! I am Planning on Buying The Hello Kitty Refrigerator for her as well. She is a big hello kitty fan.

Right now i am like WOW the seller is a big rip-off! I know this sounds werid but at Best Buy you can buy this for $70-$80 ! And overallthis is bad it takes up too much electricity!With this its an extra $500! I mean the bill is already expensive! But my daughter kept begging to not throw this junk away. I mean it worked fine until........ BEEP BEEP BEEP it was the fire alarm! Appearently my daughter was cooking some Hot pockets and it got on fire!!! Its Flammible!!! ( The Microwave not Hot Pockets)
