Yes, this filter is a lot cheaper than the name brand, and yes, it does fit as promised (at least for the GE MWF filter).That aside, the quality is questionable.For one thing, the product doesn't come with specifications on what it filters or how well--the GE OEM model does.So other than a vague statement on the box that it filters turbidity and chlorine, that's it.Based on taste of the water, we're not sure it's filtering everything.And I'm doubtful that it will last as long as the GE version.Note that it doesn't claim to be an exact replacement for the GE version but rather, "can replace."

I'm also worried about quality control.Each filter comes in an individual box, and those were falling apart because of weak glue.Did I mention these are made in China?

We'll see how long these last, but my guess is the per-unit savings will be lost in going through the filters more rapidly, and, as I said, we're not sure the water is being filtered all that well.

Works as good or better than GE at a fraction of the price..Fits perfect (MWF size/for GE Profile) and charcoal filters just the same as all the rest.. Comes with month labels to keep track of change..

Best thing i've done.. Now I'm less reluctant to change the filter and Now the water rapidly streams out of my fridge..

Don't wait!!..Don't keep trickling junky water out of your "old" GE filter!!!..Try it!! ..They're guaranteed.. ..Return em if you don't like em.. (but i aint returning mine, they work too good)

I thought I would be saving money by ordering an alternate filter rather than the GE filter which is overpriced. I bought the 3 pack. Every single one of them leaked!All 3 of them leaked! EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM LEAKED! Don't waste your money. Buy the GE filter. I had to run to a store to buy one at $12 more than the Amazon price. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!

I was a little hesitant purchasing these filters but they work very well with the GE Fridge.I don't think that there is as much filtering as in the GE filters but they make the water taste better and do the job.
