The old water tank in our GE fridge (9 years old) had started leaking. Thought I could do the job and save the extra expense of having a repair person to the house. The part was in fine shape, but be aware that it does not come with install instructions. An internet search will take care of that. With my fridge install was pretty straightforward. The only tool I needed was a screwdriver to remove the old tank and put in the new one, otherwise it was all about plugging and unplugging the tubes. Be careful when you disconnect and connect the line to the little blue water line connector, its the one part of the job that requires a bit of finesse. Good Luck.
