I need to preface my review with the fact I've only had this cooler for 3 days so I can't speak to it's longevity. That being said, it is clearly well-made. It is quiet and and easy to operate. Each shelf holds five bottles two facing one way and three facing the other.Those wine bottles that are of a larger style will fit in every shelf. Ventilation is out the bottom front. I noted the sides were warm to the touch when the unit was initially cooling but not after all the glass and liquid temperatures had lowered and stabilized. Mine is sitting out in the open but it would look classy in a built-in installation. I'm writing this review as a service as I know how hard it is to locate a good wine cooler. In our family, we've gone through three total pieces of junk. One of them actually defaulted to a freezing temperature after a power loss. (BTW This one keeps your settings).
