Easy to use, has been working a treat, sure beats using the manual version, no problems at all apart from a "not another gadget" shake of the head and sigh from the wife.

Because the battery stays on, it drains of power easily.Since the vacuum can not work without the battery, if the battery dies, you lose the vacuum power and you wine will go completely flat.Based on this the pros are 1) the vacuum power and 2) digital information, like wine temperature provided.The cons are 1) you are best served by using it with smaller glasses of wine and 2) you will need a constant supply of AAA batteries.

Overall, I have decided to keep this sealer because battery issues aside, it works wonderfully.I will just use it with smaller bottles of wine that can be drunk rather quickly, or on larger bottles of wine opened for and mostly drunk during parties.

Purchased this for my Dad for Christmas and it was easy to use out of the box from day one.They have used it about 10 times already, still works great.

Mom and Dad like a glass of wine with dinner, and a bottle will last them a week or so.They have noticed that the wine tastes consistently the same.I know I personally do not like drinking wine after 24 hours after it has been opened and when they serve me a glass from this I can not tell.

Will purchase one for myself too.

I first purchased this from a local department store and was thrilled with how it worked. So thrilled I bought one from Amazon for one of my daughters. She loves it too. But I do have to say that mine stopped working about a month later. Just stopped. Changed the batteries...nothing. Brought it back to the store but they were out of stock. I will purchase another because it did do a good job.
