I order the start relay wich is an alternate number to the original.the refrigerator is

not sure if it was this or the capacitor that was out on my refrigerator,capacitor was not within tolerance when tested with a multimeter. but when i shook the old starter it seemed to sound like something was rattling around in there, so could have been both...design was a little different than the factory design but is works just fine now...I think either one of these burning out could have been from the extreme amount of pet hair and buildup of heat around them, could have also been from accidentally leaving the freezer door juuust cracked open overnight and the constant cycling on and off may have burnt them out (i remember them going out not too long after this)

Sure beats having to pay a technician to come and fix it when it is a very simple thing to do

Purchase the replacement part #2319792. Received it 3 days later. Installed it about 2 minutes. Fired up the refrig, and it now works great again!
