so far this filter works well. I would recommend it as a replacement for the lg filter which is more expensive

Couldn't find recommended water filter locally. Would have bought twin pack if I had know it was compatible with my refrigerator.

well , did receive item on time but once i made the installation the filter stays loose . I drained water as per instructions but water stil smells funny and we can taste the water not being properly filtered . I would NOT recommend this product and regret ordering it.... don't want to give it any "star"but there's no choice when rating it

Bought these inexpensive filters to replace brand name filters.They require alot of time and rinsing, as the initial water filtered through is almost black.

Not sure how effective they are also.

This is not them same size (smaller) so it did not fit properly. I took it back out and tried re-installing.....STILL LEAKS. I would not recommend.
