I fits, however as other reviews have mentioned, it is a little small in diameter, but this won't effect it. My problem with it is that after installing it, the flow from my dispenser is reduced. I soaked it as recommended, and even spent some extra time to ensure as much air was out of it as possible. However, the stream from the dispenser is still not as strong. It is now taking a long time to fill a cup with water. Upon inspecting, I notice that the intake hole tapers down as it goes in, where the old one did not. So I suspect it is restricting the flow. The LG original is only a few dollars more. Next time I will spend a little extra.

This was a direct fit replacement in my LG.The replacement process was simple and well described.The only inconvienence is not the fault of this product.It is always time consuming to run the needed amount of water through the new filters.

It did take a decent amount of pressure to turn the new filter to lock it in place.Not an unreasonable amount and at no time did it feel like I would break something.Nonetheless it is worth noting in the case you are surprised by the effort required.

Although it specified that this was the correct replacement head for my LG refridgerator yes it screwws in but it is too small for the deignated area. Will not use again.
