I thought these were T-shaped, but they are L-shaped and didn't cover the gap between counter and stove.They are supposed to be magnetic, but I'm not sure they are.They didn't fit my situation well at all.I found T-shaped silicone extenders at Wal-Mart for about $6 each.

Works great UNTIL you turn on your oven (FYI-I have a brand new "cool touch" MAYTAG gas range), the GLUE seperates from the magnet and now it looks like a Salvador Dali painting & the SELLER WILL NOT RESPOND to my EMAILS!!!

Even after seeing other reviews,that stated they melted and pulled away from the magnet, I had to try these because they were L shaped.I could not find an L shaped stainless steel.I loved the way the looked when I first got them.However, the first time I used a large pan, they melted.Very dissapointed that a product designed for a stove cannot handle the heat.

I really like this stovetop extender.I bought a set before this that cost less, but I got what I paid for!This fits so low and snugly against my stove that it is hardly noticeable, and others who have seen it have commented on how nice it looks.

First thing manufacturers should realize is that the product is being placed right next to stovetops, which means that product should be able to withstand heat coming from the stove while cooking. From the heat, this product eventually tends to bend and disfigured, due to which the product becomes totally useless as it is not able to retain its shape and fit into the gaps which it is supposed to cover up by its function. We had to throw away ours after 1 month's use. The manufacturers of this product are either extremely dumb or did not test it well enough.
