The item DID NOT MAKE ICE.After contacting the supplier, I was given an extensive list of what I should do; however, not being an electrician and not having the tools they said would be required, we put the old one back in the fridge IT WORKS, but it leaks which was the reason for purchasing a new one. I requested a refund. To add insult to injury, I had to pay to return it and for the postage to send it.Not up to Amazon's standards.

I bought this to replace the old ice maker that broke down.The plastic water feeder to the tray is too tall for the water hose that come out from the refridgerator so I used a knife and cut a hole in the water feeder so that I can slide the water hose in for installation.Work like a champ and put out ice faster than the original one that came with the refridgerator.
