The braided ice maker hose fits perfectly. It is sufficiently long, and the outer covering is not abrasive. An earlier stainless steel braided hose damaged the wall paper behind our refrigerator due to its abrasive nature.

I bought a Uline ice maker and used this hose to run the water to the machine with an inline filter attached..Works Great.

It works and is easy to get a tight connection. It requires a little extra care when pushing the refrigerator back into place as it can kink rather than coil like traditional copper.Be sure you get one long enough to get your refrigerator out far enough to get in behind it.

About a month ago I experienced something I had never encountered in my many decades. I was going into my guest bedroom which my grandson uses when he comes over, and the carpet was wet. I was baffled. This was more than a spilt glass of water. Turns out that the leak was from the hose for the ice cube maker, and because of the tile floor in the kitchen (opposite side of the same wall as bedroom) the water had soaked into the drywall and run into the bedroom instead of the kitchen. When I pulled out the refrigerator there was no gushing or spraying of water, so I have no idea how long this went on. The cheap plastic hose had lasted for 13 years, but I don't want a repeat. The reviews, and the quality of this new hose seems like it should last a lifetime.
