Whirlpool 4210463RW Multi-Use Cleaning Brush for Refrigerators and Dryers
- Removes lint to extend life of dryer
- Cleans refrigerator coils as part of regular maintenance for most refrigerators
- Dryer manufacturers recommend regular lint removal to extend dryer life
- Helps to save energy, ensure proper performance, and extend the life
- Also recommended for cleaning refrigerator, dehumidifier, and air conditioner coils
The coils on the new refrigerator are placed in a way that it's impossible for the brush or any brush to get past and clean the rows of coils behind the first row.
Odd that Whirlpool would market a brush that won't clean their newer refrigerators.

I found this really difficult to use; it's just too large to use and do any good. It fits in the filter area, but I can't get into the areas where the build up is, even with the smaller end brush. Just will not do what I need it to do, that is, really clean out the lint left behind.

A great way to keep the fridge working at optimum efficiency. Many people never realize that the fins of the heat exchanger can get insulated by dust and lint so they go on letting their system run 2-3x more than necessary. This cleaning wand works great on my fridge and deep freeze to keep them running as little as possible.Want Whirlpool 4210463RW Multi-Use Cleaning Brush for Refrigerators and Dryers Discount?
A little pricy for what you get (one handyman magazine quoted around $7.00), but it does the trick. Recommended.
Brush isn't flexible enough to do any good.Just a long stiff wire brush. Can't clean the dryer or the fridge.Haven't figured out what to do with it yet.

Pros
Except for the compressor (and two coolers) and a few fans the only other thing to break is the ice maker. No other gadgets
Didn't know if I would like the bottom freezer, but I found it easier to use than a top freezer.
Maintains temperatures as set. The freezer runs cold (-10F) while it is filling the ice tray.
Yes you can hear it run but by no means is it noisy.
Cons
The bottom freezer is only a little bigger than the old top (19cu ft) freezer.
If the unit doesn't fit in the 36" wide area measure the refrig. My first one was 36.5" not 35.6".

when you order these filters picture shows frigidaire filter with box. when you receive them your in for a surprise. they are not frigidaire and they are not in a box. they are wrapped individually in bubble wrap.not a single marking on filter as to manufacturer or filter size. absolutely no installation instructions at all. they will not tell you the manufacturer except that it is a reputable manufacturer. they do offer a ups return label if you are not satisfied, except i am sure you forfeit your original postage of $7 dollars plus, so they expect me to return these and lose the postage? for about $5.00 more or $59.95 i found the original fridgidaire filters in a box,and that includes postage on ebay.i will eat these phony frigidaire filters but i also think they should stop advertising them as fridgedaire filters in original box.

Not a Frigidaire Filter, bought 2 filters but could have bought 3 of same from other seller. Amazon should remove item. Didn't read reviews, did not think I needed to for such a simple item.Instead, they sent me a different filter that fits. It came in a different box. The picture they have on is wrong.
33 Bottle Compressor Wine Cooler
- Temperatures reach as low as 39 degrees F
- Holds 33 bottles of wine
- Insulated glass door
- Digital temperature display
- Slide out chrome shelves
Not cellar grade cooler for long term storage. Instead it great cooler for keeping your reds at the right temperature for several months instead of keeping them warm, and then trying to chill them to serving temperature in the fridge before serving.
Shelves are removable, so I took out three shelves. This left room for 10 horizontal standard bottles of wine, 4 horizontal large bottles of wine, and 4-6 vertical (open) bottles of wine and/or liquor.
No fans to circulate and make noise.
The not so good
rear "feet" are just stamped metal protrusions from the base, so you may want to get carpet/floor protectors.
The condenser coils are on the sidewalls and get slightly warm to the touch, so it appears that space needs to be left on each side for ventilation.
Power cord is too short.Compressor pitch is a strange pitch compared to the normal fridge, but is fairly unobtrusive.
Summary
Great value, good starter cooler for the money, especially considering it includes shipping.I would buy another for whites if I drank white wine.

I purchased the unit 10 months ago. Last week the compressor stop working. I contacted the NewAir customer support and they explained that I have to ship the product back. Really !!! Where I am going to find box suitable to ship the unit? I proposed to have a new unit shipped and I will return the old one in the packaging, but they explained that this can't be done. It is too much hassle. I will throw it away and will never buy anything from NewAir again.I should listen to the negative reviews in the first place.

Don't take a chance with this company.I ordered this product based on the positive reviews on Air & Water's website. The unit arrived quickly but upon opening it I found that the gasket on the door did not create a tight seal around the frame there was a huge gap at the top outer corner that would allow warm outside air enter the unit, resulting in more costly, inefficient cooling.I tried stretching it and playing around with it but no luck. While not ideal, these things happen no biggie. So I called A&W to send a replacement, and they were actually very accommodating and sent a new unit right away. They instructed me to use the box from the replacement to send back the defective unit (they provided a prepaid shipping label for the return).I therefore tossed the packaging supplies from the first unit (the box had been cut open anyway to take it out).
The second unit arrived a week later, and I was excited I finally had somewhere to store my wine.No dice! There was a huge dent on the door. There is no way that this damage occurred during the shipping process as all of the packaging (foam, box, etc.) was completely intact with no bends or holes.I can only assume that this defect existed at the time it was shipped.
I read a lot of reviews for a lot of products, and I'm not sure I've ever seen a company fail to send a good condition product when given not one but two chances. Air & Water/NewAir clearly does not have a proper quality assurance process in place. Both of these units had blatant defects that should have been detected prior to distribution. With the first unit, I thought it was a fluke.Upon receipt of the second, it's no coincidence this company simply lacks basic controls.
To add insult to injury, in order to receive a refund I was told that I am on the hook for purchasing a box and packaging supplies to send back the second defective unit. A&W would not reimburse me for the cost nor send supplies to me.Between emails, phone calls, taking pictures of defects, arranging fedex return pickups, and now the cost of packaging supplies, this has been a major hassle.Don't waste your time.
Incidentally, after doing some digging I found that Air & Water owns NewAir no wonder NewAir's product reviews are so positive on the A&W site but just mediocre everywhere else.

The pros; it's a compresser type fridge. It keeps wine much colder than then electro type. Nice fit and finish.
The cons; it's not "Energy Star" rated and it shows once a month! my electric bill went up 20.00 a month That with keeping the themostat at 58. Another problm is noise. When the compressor is on... not good.
Is it worth it? Well if one entertains alot. It adds a touch of elegance.
After reading lots of reviews on the passive chillers, I decided on this model with a compressor. It requires very little air space around the unit to maintain cooling capability which was very important for it's final placement. The compressor does make enough noise to be heard. It is quieter than our full size fridge.Temperature seems to hold very consistent and it recovers quickly after the door is opened. The only negative is that the blue interior LED light turns off automatically after a few minutes. My we liked the way it looked with the blue light on.

Addendum one week later. The seller won't ship just a replacement panel or door but will swap units or give a $75 refund to settle.I am taking the $75 because I don't want the hassle of repacking and shipping just because of a dent.It seems like a fair deal.I found a simple solution to the lack of side rails on the shelves.I cut 90 degree moldings from Home Depot into 16" sections and secured them to the edges existing shelves.Doesn't look bad at all and works great. The pine wood matches the shelves like it belongs there. Can't believe that these shelves were designed this way. The unit is still working fine. It's still loud (even as a built-in) and seems to be running most of the time, unfortunately.Still 3 stars. After serious research, I purchased this wine refrigerator.
It is soooo loud everyone comments.
The wooden shelves are poorly made and have no sides to brace the bottles.
You risk the bottles rolling out and breaking every time you extend the shelves....
I cannot imagine a worse choice.

The dishwasher cleans very well probably the best cleaning of any dishwasher I've ever used. No complaints there. And it's VERY quiet, which is nice.
Contrary to what was said by other reviewers about the dishwashers in this series, I have not had any problems with spotting in the slightest, even with the rinse agent set to use the minimum amount. I think that might be a function of the water quality (we never used a rinse agent at all with our previous dishwasher and never had a problem with spotting).
Overall, I only have two complaints. As others have noted, the configuration of the dish racks is really strange and it makes for very awkward loading. I'm not quite sure what the designers were thinking. The 'prongs' that hold the dishes upright are way too close together, so you can't easily load soup bowls or deep-dish plates. Then there are "speed bumps" on the right and left sides of the upper rack, going all the way from front to back, where you'd normally put glasses and cups so cups don't sit flat and tend to tip over if they're not loaded with something next to them. I'm sure there's some reason for this design, but I haven't figured it out.
My second complaint is an installation issue I had. I purchased the hose kit which I was told was required, and it included an 'L' connector for the incoming water line. However, when the connector is screwed all the way in so that it doesn't leak, it's pointing the wrong direction and it's IMPOSSIBLE to connect the hose. After trying it about six different times, and spending an hour on the phone with customer service, I ended up removing the bracket that holds the incoming water connector and just letting it drop to the ground so there was room for the water line to be connected. It's not pretty, but it's hidden by the front plate and it seems to work. They also didn't include the strain relief for the electrical line, which I thought was pretty cheap.

I'm the one that unloads the dishwasher in our house.
Cleaning:
When I unloaded our old Maytag, I would have to rewash 30% of the dishes because they didn't come clean. This dishwasher is 100% clean over 3 loads so far!All the dishes are cleaner than anything that came out of the Maytag. The dishes are very HOT when it's done.
Noise:
We couldn't watch TV with the Maytag running. Not a problem with this one. This dishwasher is so quiet that we only really notice it when the water is draining.
Installation:
It took me about 2 hours to remove the old machine and install this one. That included a trip to Home Depot to buy the water line adapter. (The only piece of hardware I had to buy.)The directions were very clear. The hardest part was getting the thing level because it was a snug fit under the counter.
I would recommend this dishwasher to anyone.

It took me two or three days to research washing machines. I decided on this one and got it locally at about the same price with free set up and delivery. The reviews on Amazon are so very helpful. I have had this machine a couple weeks. My old machine died electronically and the start button failed. The nite before this one was delivered, it came back to life!! But it was 25 years old and my dishes did not sparkle. Now they do. I didn't want another electronic panel, but there is little choice these days. Dishes are very clean, and sparkly. Pretty easy to use. More options than I need. I agree the tines are very close together but a row on the top and the bottom fold down for bigger items. The top shelf is adjustable up and down and completely removable which is big plus when I want to wash my big pots that I could never fit it the dishwasher before. The machine does stop when finished but the on off button is on and needs to be manually shut off. I don't understand why that is.only tabs or dry soap is recommended. I have a huge amount of liquid soap left which the installer says I can probably use, but it isn't recommended. The panel needs the instruction book sometimes for some functions..I wish that part was more user friendly. It isn't difficult but it is something extra I need to look up if I need to change a setting. The next level ou was over $300 more and I don't think it would have been worth the extra money for me. OH, it is very quiet. So far, I am very happy I bought this modeland would recommend it.Want Bosch SHE3AR72UC Ascenta 24" White Full Console Dishwasher - Energy Star Discount?
I bought it in July, and it was great for a few months, but then it stopped completing cycles. The time display would freeze, sometimes it would stop completely, other times it would just keep going and going with the frozen time display. I'd turn it on at night, and it would still be running, with the time display stuck on one minute remaining when I woke up the next morning. So, why a twostar review rather than a onestar? This dishwasher replaced a Kitchen-aid lemon that died after only three years. Bosch customer service is much, much better than Kitchen-aid. I've gotten a live person on the phone almost immediately every time I've called in. Service appointments were always within a couple of days of my phone call. The service guy called to let me know exactly when he'd be there and he showed up on time. He tried to fix it three times. Now that it's failed again, Bosch has said they'll replace it.We didn't buy our Bosch here at Amazon, but have been so grateful for reviews we've used here that we thought we'd pass along what we've experienced with this product. We did post reviews at other sites, but aren't sure it's okay to post a link here. But since there's so much more information to share when it comes to these dishwashers, here's a link to one of our posted reviews: (...).lowes.com/pd_353032-39047-SHE3ARF2UC_4294857924__?productId=3384512&Ns=p_product_avg_rating|1 -12/11/2012 by BeingHereNow.Don't know how to react to reviews where the rating is 4 or 5 stars but the content talks about how bad rack and flatware basket design is way less than user friendly. The content is helpful, but the high rating isn't.
I've posted information at two other sites, but after going back to the store where we bought our Bosch Ascenta Series 24 In dishwasher, model SHE3AR...(F2UC/08), and comparing the rack sizes to other dishwashers, it quickly became obvious that we had missed the obvious:the Bosch racks are SIGNIFICANTLY smaller than those found in other 24" dishwashers. So much so, that we think these dishwashers really should be listed as 'compact' or somewhere between 'compact' and 'full-size'.
Nobody seems to be advertising that the racks are 20" wide, but only 18" deep. That's 360 square inches of space per rack. The racks we measured in machines by other companies were around 20" to 21" wide, but several were 21" deep.20" X 21" racks have 420 square inches of space per rack. That means there is 120 SQUARE INCHES LESS loading space (60 square inches less per rack) in the Bosch Ascenta Series dishwashers. We think that's a lot!
Kind of explains why the interior design of the racks is so 'unusual'?I guess they figured that it was important to force the user to load everything together tightly in order to support the place settings capacity claims. We're also thinking that Bosch uses the place setting capacity claims, along with the "standard" rack widths so that buyers don't notice how much space the racks are missing.I do think there was mention of the racks being "slightly smaller" in the Consumer Reports reviews. But even their testers don't appear to have realized that the size differences really do add up.
Yeah, when you're in the store looking at dishwashers, the Bosch is right up there with the others when it comes to place setting capacity and the rack widths look to take up the same space across the opening. So,even if you notice that the racks seem to be smaller, how much smaller doesn't really sink in at the time. There's probably sales literature, and a bag with the manual, etc. in the racks. And, of course, the sales reps are making sure you notice the filtering system and that the Bosch dishwasher doesn't need an external heating element. To be fair, we're not sure that most sales reps will ever have had reason to notice the obvious, since the marketing of these machines is so clever that it appears that hardly anyone ever notices realizes that size is a significant factor when it comes to loading issues, not just the configuration of the racks.
Hope this is helpful to others.

Koolatron W75 Kool Wheeler Cooler 36-Quart
- Electric travel cooler/warmer with cigarette-lighter adapter
- Sits horizontally or vertically for easy storage or use as fridge
- Includes shelf for optimal storage and easy access to foods and beverages
- Cools to 22 degrees F below ambient temperature; heats to 135 degrees F
- Measures 16.7 by 22 by 16.5 inches; weighs19 lbs; holds 57 12-oz. cans, 36 quarts
I specifically liked the following things about it:
It is deceptively big.We had a whole gallon of milk (in two 1/2 gallon containers), as well as lunch meat, all sorts of yogurt/pudding containers, and fruits in there.
The wheels: this was key for us, we looked for the biggest cooler we could find that had wheels. There are bigger powered coolers out there, but this is the biggest we could find with wheels. My 6 year old was able to drag a full cooler from the car to the hotel without any issues.
The fan on the side: at first, I thought it would be a mistake to buy something with the fan on the side (rather than on the top), since we wouldn't be able to stack anything next to it.This, however, worked to our advantage when we decided to keep the cooler in the car (rather than in the trunk), we simply stacked things on top of it.
It runs very quietly, even though it was on in our hotel rooms all night, we had no issues sleeping.
The lid does not stay open on its own, which means the kids can't accidentally leave it open (I could see this being a negative for some)
Some cons (none of which were a big deal for me):
The cooler works by drawing warm air from outside, cooling it, then blowing it around inside the cooler. As a result, the slots where the air comes in will collect frost, and after 2 or 3 days, froze solid, which prevented the air from circulating, which increased the temperature inside.Every couple of days, I took everything out, used a hair dryer to melt all the frost (took a few minutes), then put everything back in after running it for a few minutes. The hair dryer is not absolutely necessary, but it does speed things up.
The handle feels "cheap" (e.g. like it might break)
You need to leave some room near the air vent on the side of the device, otherwise you lose air circulation, meaning things on the other side of the cooler get warmer.
It takes a few hours to cool things down, it is not like a fridge. We cooled all of our food initially in a fridge, then transferred it to the cooler.

I really researched which cooler to buy. I read the reviews, thanks to everyone who posted and didn't want to spend a fortune, but was willing to spend a bit to get a good working product. Went with the Koolatron for many reasons and have to say after 11 days on the road running nearly non stop that I made the right choice 100%!We ran this thing non stop nearly both in hotel rooms and in the car. After 7 days, a bag of ice I had added at home was still frozen solid and it was colder inside cooler than hotel fridge. No joke! I was afraid to put the food in the fridge so just keep them in the cooler and put the drinks in the fridge.
Add a couple ice packs or a bag of ice as it help keep the temp even lower and since our Honda Odyssey Touring plug in the back turns off when engine is off, the ice helps keep the temp down during gas fill ups and bathroom runs without sacrificing coolness.
I noticed no ice or frost build up after 7 days, but chose to turn in off for a short time & dry it out just to be safe. What I did notice was after that when car was turned off somehow we had a bit of water in the bottom and did not dry it out, then the frost built up. I think because the food was out for a couple minutes, persipration developed on the food. I believe if there is perspiration or additional moisture inside, then likely to get frost. Still ran with frost, but I decided to dry it out and defrost to be on the safe side. I also wiped down food before putting back inside. THis time no frost build up.
Bought the adapter plug for using in the hotels and did as other reviewers said. I cooled it down the day before at home without anything inside so it was cold when we started and added only cold food & drink to it. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT. No moisture produced. Adapter gets hot for sure. Almost scary, but no problems with it.
This was NOT our main cooler, but for our foods like meats, cheeses, milk etc. that needed to stay cold all the time. Stayed as cold as my fridge at home if not colder keeping ice frozen even in outdoor temps up to 100 degrees while engine was running!
We had a standard cooler with ice for drinks that was used allowing the Coolatron to protect vital foods. Highly recommend this cooler and adapter, but Amazon needs to fix the packaging as we did have minor damage and could have easily been destroying or severely damaged in shipping. Do not order last minute. We did and had one wheel with minor damage and the plastic restrainer for the lid was broken. No time to exchange, but works fine without.

Koolatron was received as expected.Although it appeared to be cheaply made, the size and appearance was as expected.I would have liked it but it only worked for a week before it stopped cooling or heating.Cost too much to use it with ice.Right out of the box the wheel on this cooler fell off. The wheels and handle are very cheaply made. I needed it so I used the cooler anyway. Once cold, it kept drinks very cold. I would not recommend buying the one with wheels. If your tall its hard to pull on the rollers. Great for girls. My husband is 6'1" & couldn't pull it cause the food wood fall out. But it was easy for me to pull.

I've had GE technicians come out 3 times and have called consumer relations. GE consumer relations were not helpful at all. They said a technical manager would call me back to discuss it. After a week and a half, I called back and they told me he hadn't gotten to it yet. Five and a half weeks after my original call to consumer relations, the customer service person briefly talked with the technical manager and came back with a solution that didn't make sense (not even to the technician who eventually came to try to fix it). She would not let me talk with the technical manager directly.
The "solution" they came up with was to bend the grease filters out of shape in order to "make" them stay in place. I think there should be a better solution than that.
