The shelves are strong if two are side-by-side on the same level (if they are NOT on the same level, they are a little shaky) and they can slide out a few inches to leave room for a tall bottle of wine on the shelf below.The discreet occasional beep might not alert you to a door left open.The freezer section has good air circulation.The shiny black surface doesnt show fingerprints the way stainless steel does.The motor is so silent I thought it wasnt working!The door bins are clear plastic, so you can see what's in them.I did not install the ice maker, so cant review that.Altogether I am VERY happy with the LG refrigertor.

I love to cook, American, Many Asian cuisines, Cajun and Creole. I have a lot of little jars and mixes, plus we love pickles, olives, jams and jellies. These items totally eat refrigerator space, get lost in the back of the big fridge, and are annoying to keep track of. The Haier 4.5 cubic foot fridge is the answer to the condiment queen's prayers. It easily holds the pickles, jams, jellies, kimchee, sauerkraut, jars and cans of oddments, with room for soda and water.

The shelves are adjustable. There is a white tray that comes with it and fits under the freezer, you'll see in the pictures I just pulled that out, and the teeny tiny oh-so-cute ice tray went too, leaving me room to freeze some ice cream sandwiches or a frozen meal.

The footprint of this fridge is small, it would make a great dorm fridge. My son has the smaller 4.0 white version in his room and he and his brother store all their coke, water, sprite, root beer, etc.

The only quibble I have with this fridge is the listing says black, the front is a stainless steel look. For our needs it actually works better, but if someone really wants black this would be a negative.

Awesome fridge. Not too heavy for its size, I could haul it upstairs to my home theater without too much effort.Very quiet, and it definitely keeps things cold.The only (slight) issue I had was playing around with the shelving inside to make some stuff fit.But that's not a reflection on the fridge.Overall, great product and I highly recommend it as a secondary fridge.

I use this in my car for drinks or to keep small items of food cold on the way home from long trips to Costco, etc. It's durable, has many pockets, and works great. If you have more room in your vehicle and need more "cold storage" for your trips, get the bigger one.

The only drawback, and I assume this is for all of these type devices, is if you leave it plugged in your car/boat, etc. for long periods of time while your vehicle is OFF, it will drain your battery fairly fast. The longest I've left it plugged in while my car was off was about 3 hours. But I did this repeatedly and it eventually caused the premature death of my car battery in Dec 07.

HOWEVER, THIS said, I have an 05' mid-size SUV and this was the original battery so that also may have contributed.

After receiving this product I found it defective. Because I was moving and VERY short on time oh... and quite handy, I decided to open it up and see if I could do the repair by myself. I found the cheap internal construction to be the issue and cleared the fan from rubbing by modifying the hard foam frame a bit which was causing the fan to rub and sounded like a playing card close-pinned to a bicycle wheel when it ran. This caused it not to get cold obviously. I managed the repairs only to find that on the road, the current draw was very high on my TDI VWs little battery and it took some time for the device to cool down internally but it did within about an hour. On my long driving trip from LA to Wisconsin I eventuallyjust unplugged it and bought some ice and threw it in.

The device would have possibly been fine I think in a larger car with a stronger alternator and battery BTW. I also bought the battery saver. This did a bit better but I found it heated up the cabin as well as the cooler did by itself just too much on hot days in the summer. Might have worked better in the winter or somehow putting it up on my roof rack rather than having it inside a little bug with two people and a dog. I would not recommend this or any device like it for a small car as configured.

The cooler won't get anything cold mine only went down to 50 (in a 70 degree room) and it took many hoursto get there with anything in it.(It was blowing 46 degree air after 2 hours).And it warms up quickly 14 degrees in only an hour and 1/2.

Add to that a continuous whir noise, so you don't want to bring it into your motel room and leave it plugged it and the battery load which occurs if you leave it in the car overnight, this is a limited use device (in my humble opinion).

This arrived yesterday and I did a "dry run" with it.First off, I had no clue, for some odd reason, that it was also a heated device.So, imagine my surprise during the first test when the inside was getting hot, lol.I then read further and found that if one flips it to the blue side, it cools, the red side is for heat.I got an adapter since I will not be using it in a vehicle.At any rate, we did as instructed and gave it a test empty. It was cold within about ten to fifteen minutes.There are plenty of pockets and I was afraid they wouldn't get cold but they did.For the price and with Amazon Prime, I just couldn't pass this one up. It has much more room than the hard sided one that I also looked at. Now, I'm going to really use this soon when I camp and I might do an additional review at that time.As far as I can tell, I think this was an excellent purchase and would recommend it highly.

OK, I've now officially tested this product during an exceptionally hot and humid weekend of camping and it worked great.What I did, since I knew that it was going to be super hot with very high humidity, was follow the instructions, or recommendation, of another reviewer.I put a hard ice pack in the bottom and also, a Gator Ade bottle, with frozen water, in the unit.I just used this for Gator Ade as it is just too hot to eat, lol, and it worked fine.I made sure to keep it in the shade at all times.When I got home, the bottle filled with ice, still was pretty frozen.It wasn't totally frozen, of course, but, it did still have a huge chunk of ice within.I think this is going to work just fine.Plus, it wasn't loud at all. I literally had to put my hand by the fan to make sure it was running. I give this a huge thumbs up and would recommend to others.Come fall, I probably won't do the ice pack method but, with the humidity we have been having, it would have been silly not to use the ice too.My Gator Ade was actually too cold.I also left said drink out and it got warm, of course. I then put it back in the cooler and it was super cold within about an hour or a bit more.I hope this helps others. Oh, I almost forgot to mention something. Since my van is a 1997 and the cig lighter hasn't worked in years, I bought that adapter deal that turns it into an electric device. That worked fine.Just be careful as the power pack deal gets pretty hot. I literally hung mine over a box fan that I took along and, obviously, it kept it cool.

The Koolatron does not provide any additional cooling capacity or ability to keep cool beyond what any other insulated bag would do, and is not as cold as a bag that has had a frozen ice pack added to it.And the manufacturer recommends that it not be plugged in for more than 4 hours at a time, which eliminates use as a day-long cooling container.I do not believe the capability of this container warrants the expense.

This lint screen looks like something that was put together by an adolescent with a glue gun but once I put it back into shape from shipping it has worked fine. It fit the dryer properly and no more exhaust air is getting past without being filtered.

Aquafresh Replacement for GE MWF Refirgerator Filter, 3-Pack

Yes, this filter is a lot cheaper than the name brand, and yes, it does fit as promised (at least for the GE MWF filter).That aside, the quality is questionable.For one thing, the product doesn't come with specifications on what it filters or how well--the GE OEM model does.So other than a vague statement on the box that it filters turbidity and chlorine, that's it.Based on taste of the water, we're not sure it's filtering everything.And I'm doubtful that it will last as long as the GE version.Note that it doesn't claim to be an exact replacement for the GE version but rather, "can replace."

I'm also worried about quality control.Each filter comes in an individual box, and those were falling apart because of weak glue.Did I mention these are made in China?

We'll see how long these last, but my guess is the per-unit savings will be lost in going through the filters more rapidly, and, as I said, we're not sure the water is being filtered all that well.

We had emptied it and cleaned it with vinegar, soap, comet, nothing would get rid of the smell which I guess had securely fastened itself in the vents. We bought these as a last resort and they did the trick (Although I think the cleanings got rid of the original source of the smell so you might want to do that as well). We put them in the freezer and fridge and in 24 hours there was not a hint of stink.

What you actually get is an updated filter for newer refrigerator models.DO NOT use the filter you receive (which is a Frigidaire PureSource 2) if you are actually trying to get is a Kenmore WGFC 2000 part number 9911.It will leak all over the place and when you try to use your in-door water dispenser the filter actually forcefully ejects itself!!

This Item is what I ordered because it was advertised, but the seller stated that they no longer carry, or make this item. The product they did send was from Fridgidare, This cheaply made replacement( Fridgidare) was made in Singapore. Kenmore products are made in USA, and are better quality. The Singapore product is no where even close in quality. The Singapore product does perform so far, but is overpriced, this is just my opinion. But I will no longer order water filters for my Kenmore from Amazon, orAPPLIANCE TECH PARTS.APPLIANCE TECH PARTS the co. I purchaced the product from. I was so disappointed with the product I received. The Fridgidare item was very hard to push in my unit. The part that goes into the unit is only half covering. The filter is white, so you can not see the inside. I liked seeing the inside of the filter, so I knew is was performing correctly. Why was one item advertised, when it was no longer made, the picture is of the Kenmore product, made in USA. This is very deceiving to customers. But this is just my opinion.

BUT, it went down, down to below 32 degrees.So, I turned the control down ... down ... down.The control is now at its warmest setting, 1, and the temp still remains at 32 or colder (this over a couple of days).

I'm going to try to get my money back from Amazon.BEWARE.
