I too have an issue with this filter. First off it is not exactly the same end as the original kenmore 46-9010 that I am replacing. I thought though that since it is advertised many places as compatible it would work. It states you MUST soak the filter in water 15 min before using. I had never seen that on any filter but did it anyway. When inserting the filter and twisting it into place there was no sound of water or pressure opening the valve. I ran 2-3 gallons of water through it and I also had no air pockets. I removed the filter and it has no water in the filter. The water is not running through it. It is just bypassing it as though there is no filter in it. I put the old kenmore back in and the pressure and water sound went through it. I then tried another new SGF-W01 and it does as the first. I do not think these filters are filtering ANY water at all. The difference in the ends must be the problem. I guess it's like the old saying, you get what you pay for. I wasted $50 on two of these filters. I will be going and paying the higher price for a 46-9010 that really works.

The flap that normally covers the ice dispenser chute on my Whirlpool refrigerator stopped working. It would not seal properly, which caused moisture to freeze up the mechanism that crushes and dispenses ice--which meant no ice could be dispensed at all. It was "reach into the bucket and get some ice" for a while until I found this kit. While any repair kit that uses some type of super-adhesive to mount additional hardware (not visible after installation, by the way, which is good) and requires you to take needle-nose pliers and break off the little plastic things that originally supported the flap can cause some apprehension in someone with little confidence in their repair skills (me), it worked perfectly. Some aspects of the replacement directions did have me scratching my head for a few minutes, but the end result was a complete success.

This repair kit for the refrigerator ice door worked for my Kitchenaid Refrigerator KSRP22F. I did this repair a few months ago and it is working OK. There is some frost and ice buildup inside now around the ice container which I clear away easily every few weeks. So the ice door seal must not be perfect when closed, but it's satisfactory and I am glad have the system working.

I think this repair is harder than others have suggested because it is not easy to see and get at. You must first do some disassembly just to verify that you have a broken hinge. During the actual repair, I ended up with a small flashlight in my mouth to see up in there.

The good news is that many others have done this repair before you. On the Internet, you will learn how to take the front panel off and you will print up a good photo of the ice door assembly properly installed. You want to see how the mechanism looked before your hinge broke and before all the pieces came loose. This picture will be useful because the kit's instructions have tiny black & white pictures that don't show clear details. But the written instructions have no errors.

I ended up adding my own 1/4 inch plastic bushing at the right end of the ice door assembly metal shaft. I did this as a spacer because, in my case, the new ice door assembly would otherwise move slightly to the right along its shaft after each use until it would get out of working position. The ice door assembly needs to stay to the left up against the ice dispenser lever (the one you push in for ice). Your pressing the ice lever in is what opens the ice door and the lever's alignment to the ice door parts must stay in place for proper ice door opening.

This was a perfect fix for that cheap plastic hook that broke so easily on my ice dispenser.It was easy to install, although the panel and several parts had to be removed to do it.My only complaint is that it uses an adhesive pad to mount itself, although I can't see how else it would work.It was a bit strange that it had adhesive pads that the instructions specifically said not to use.So then why are they there?

Before installing, you must break off the existing tabs that the ice door pivots on, so get a pair of needle-nose pliers ready.It also seems to be rather expensive for a piece of metal and a plastic door, considering I just purchased something far more complicated to fix the ice maker at a fraction of the cost, but it's still less than the repairman wanted for the part.

This kit uses metal to replace a segment of a much larger molded plastic part.The plastic in the original design was not of sufficient strength to support the spring loaded stress to completely close the ice dispenser door located in the side by side freezer door of the refrigerator.The kit solves the problem adequately, but some mechanical aptitude is needed to properly align the kit bracket so the ice dispenser door closes properly.My only complaint is that the manufacturer profits from it's own design flaw with a ridiculous price of $50.00 plus for the repair kit. The fix works, the Amazon service was great.Since I bought the kit, I did receive a notice from Amazon offering a significantly lower price for the kit, (which was too late to benefit me).

The product works perfectly.However, the previous reviews are 100% correct that the instructions are poor at best.It could definitely use larger color pictures and better descriptions.For example, there is a third tab near the two you have to break off.I inadvertently broke the wrong one.It turns out this tab is used to hold the pin for the hinge to the flapper door in place.After it was reassembled, the flapper door kept falling out of place, much as it had done prior to the repair.I managed to rig it with the use of a screw through the back to mimic the tab I inadvertently removed and that seems to have worked.Again, good product, lousy documentation.

I have had this wine cellar for about 1 month and I use it just for white wine.It holds a constant temperature of 48 deg F. I was a little skeptical in purchasing due to no reviews and low price but it works nicely!

The build quality is ok but for the price is is under a counter so all you see is the front! The owners manual is not the greatest. I tried setting the temperature per the manual but it did not seem to work so i finally just pushed the white wine button and left it running. I should note that it took a good 8 hours for the temperature to settle in at 48 deg so don't expect instant temperature changes.

Looks good, we really wanted it but it came dead on arrival.Actually heated the refrigerator hotter than our kitchen.I couldn't get through to whom we bought it from on Amazon and Haier was difficult to work with at best.Finally a week later, hopefully they fixed it.We now have a refrigerator that has replacement parts in it before we even put one bottle of wine in it.Disappointing experience and won't buy from them again.

Right after ordering, I received an email from SquareTrade about my contract that I just purchased.Within that confirmation, there's a link to click to "View and Print Your Contract."I clicked it, and it's just a dead link:the top of the web page reads "mywarranties (GIF Image, 1 x 1 pixels)."My guess is that page is supposed to forward you to the actual page, but it just hangs there.I've tried this in both Firefox (v.14.0.1) and IE (v.9), and they're dead in both browsers.

There's also another link for "Questions about your contract?", and when I click that, I get a similar dead page.I've sent 4 emails to the company explaining the problem, and they simply bounce back the same copy of the same document with the same dead links.I've also repeatedly asked them to send me my contract in a viewable, printable, saveable document format like Adobe Acrobat (PDF).All I got in response to my first couple of inquiries were repeat sends of this useless email confirmation with the same dead links.This is ridiculous.There is simply NO EXCUSE for not getting the thing right to begin with, and there's NO EXCUSE for not simply sending a digital copy of the document in RTF or PDF or anything similar.

Finally, after multiple attempts to get a saveable, printable version of the contract, I FINALLY received a message from (I think) a real human, and he has attached a PDF of the contract, but the email goes in about 8 directions at once, pasting boilerplate about requirements for obtaining warranty service, offering vague apologies for hypothetical inconveniences, stating how to send/FAX copies of my receipt to make a claim, suggesting how to buy a supplemental "Care Plan," etc., etc., etc.All I asked for was a copy of the warranty that I couldn't get via their dead links; I FINALLY got the PDF of the warranty, but the links are still dead.

To add insult to injury, they subsequently sent me a survey to fill out to tell them what I thought of their customer service.Wouldn't you know that the link to click for the survey is a dead link as well?Good grief!I simply decided to send my survey reply text to the email address from which the survey request initiated, but it bounced back a message saying that their email address has changed, and they don't tell me what the new one is!What in the world?Instead, they give me a link to a webform to fill out if I need to contact them.Guess what?Yep.That's a dead link too!!!!!!!!!

I sure hope that they do a better job of standing behind their warranty than they demonstrate they are capable of in website development, email account management, and in written communication skills.

This product is very nice however, I thought the kegs would be new since that's what the title said and I got re-furbished ones. I already had to buy new tops because one of my beers went flat (not cool) during priming phase. I also did not receive co2 tanks I had to call them but, they sent them out ASAP (thanks). Tap handles also weren't in there (didn't bother calling got fed up). They rest of the kit is new and everything else is good with detailed instructions on proper use.

The green water filter for Samsung (DA29-00012A)that I ordered on line is not compatible with my Samsung Refrigerator.The green filter part number matches the standard filter part number that came with my refrigerator and it claims to be compatible on the packaging, but the filter does not seem to form a tight fit and ejects itself from the water filter carriage before it becomes fully pressurized (imagine a water rocket shooting out at you). I ordered two and thought it might just be a defect in the one filter, so I tried installing the second filter, but it didn't work either.I'm in the process of returning and hope to get my money back.

I took a chance and ordered a two pack and followed the instructions from the owner's manual.On the filters box it says to soak for at least 15 minutes.I soaked for 30 minutes and installed, but it took three tries before the filter would remain locked in.I then dumped 10 full glasses of water to make sure water was good to drink.I noticed a high amount of water leaking when the refrigerator's water dispenser was used.I left alone for 4 hours without any ice or water usage, and the cup I had placed under the filter (drip valve) was full and running over.The filter leaked when the water dispenser was used and when it was not being used.I then tried the second filter, but again I had the same results.The second filter I left in for 48 hours with normal water dispenser use to see if anything would change, but it did not... still leaky.I re-installed the old Samsung OEM filter and absolutely no leaks.I emailed the seller 3 days ago so that I can return and get a refund and have not heard back yet from them.I will give them 1 more business day to respond before I file an A-Z claim through Amazon. I will never order their product again.
