This is a great product!I am using this to filter fine clay sediment from an artesian well (#100 mesh screen). It totally beats filters with replaceable cartridges( being an ongoing expense) and is easy to clean by backflushing.I purchased the largest filter, 2" in and out, to replace a smaller filter of the same design which had been in use for 20 years. The only problem with the smaller filter being the need to flush it 1-2x weekly with high water use. The large filter doesn't require this; 2-3 times annually. (or whenever I think about it)
Because I am profoundly lazy, I rigged anelectric solanoid water valve to the 1/2" flushing port. I can flush the filter by pushing a button in the utility room...
