This is an awesome fridge! I got it when I had trouble with people stealing things from the communal kitchen where I live. It's compact, super quiet, keeps your food really cold (I have it set at 4/6 for it's level of cold), and it looks pretty cool. It sits at the end of my bed, and I never even notice it when I'm going to bed. I have trouble going to bed unless things are really quiet, so I was pleasantly surprised by it's low noise output. This fridge is a great buy, and so far it's been really reliable.

When my home burned, I had to move back in with mom for awhile. My sister and her kids live there also, so after the 3rd time I tried fixing breakfast and discovered someone had drank all my milk and juice, I decided to get a compact fridge to keep in my room. Did a lot of research and found the Frigidaire 2.5 cubic foot compact refrigerator at Lowes for $129. It is super quiet I never hear it. Keeps food cold and has a tiny freezer for ice cubes and a couple lean cuisines. It LOCKS so nobody has been able to "borrow" my food when I'm not at home. Glass shelves are easy to clean. It's dependable and has a small footprint. It sits next to my bed and I use it as a nightstand/mini table. For the price (do your research to find the best price) and brand dependability, this is a great fridge.

My old bellow on my washer was accumulating a black mold and no amount of cleaning could get rid of or prevent it. I read online the product is easily replaced following these instructions. (repair manual for HE2 washer same as whirlpool duet:

The hardest part was putting the outside spring wire that holds the bellow in place, back on. What worked for me was to use two sets of needle nose pliers and grab both ends of the spring and pull the spring apart while placing the wire around the bellow. It took me about 1 hour to remove and replace this piece, mainly because I cleaned the inside of the washer and I also cleaned the filter (located at the bottom of most front load washers you already have it open you might as well). It was a good thing I cleaned the filter it was full of mildew smelling garbage and about $1.50 in change. This is not a hard task to complete, and it is cheaper than buying new or hiring a repair guy.

Not a 100% perfect fit, but it works. Appears to be wider than the original, but in spite of that, it does seal and it did not leak during the initial test.

This product is a great replacement when you need it for your washer. This part tends to collect with mold and begins to smell. The installation is a little difficult but it can be done. Putting the tension band back on to the washing machine is the most difficult part and I needed the wife's hands to help. I will tell you this, replacing this part saved me from buying a new machine and saved me quite a bit of money. There are no compatibility issues at all, everything was a snug fit and there are no leaks.

I bought this after the original one got a rip in it. The washer (Epic Z) is only 1-1/2 years old, but has always leaked around the seal.

We read up on it and thought it was because we were overloading it.

Then my wife accidently tore the bottom and it started to leak more.

Ordered the bellow, and it only took about an hour to replace. Watched a how-to on Youtube first.

I bought this fridge short notice when a defrosting attempt rendered my last beer fridge inoperable, and I felt a little pressured to hit the Go button on it as my tasty 12oz's of Heaven slowly warmed. But I must say I'm not disappointed at all! It's a great size, looks fantastic, isn't as heavy as I thought it would be, is very quiet, and keeps more than 60 bottles of Sam Adams ice cold and within arms reach with room to spare! My original fridge was a Kenmore job, with a pathetic waste-of-space freezer section (which this does not have) that for some unknown reason Sears saw fit to make the freezer floor out of the cooling element. So of course it iced up like you read about, and I, like many a man before me, took the task of removing this ice seriously (it was encroaching on my beer space as it grew!)...and pulled out my trusty, and ridiculously pointy, pocket knife. So after a bath of freon, or what ever the hell they're using these days to cool, washed over me with a snake-like hiss, I proceeded to slam the door and muscle the fridge out to the driveway where it still sits.Luckily my beer supply was low (it pains me to admit this), so I only needed to commandeer a single shelf in the practically useless "food" fridge as the wife calls it.But knowing this arrangement wouldn't last, I needed a new fridge, and fast.So I bit the bullet after reading a few whiny reviews about ridiculously trivial issues (like not getting cool enough, or damaged in shipping; neither of which plague(d) my unit), even springing for the $4 overnight option (Thank you PRIME!), and couldn't be happier. My pregnant wife likes it so much she's decided to throw caution to the wind and resume drinking.Who could resist pulling a frosty beverage from this bad boy and tossing it back at the end of a hard day?Not this guy!And this fridge delivers with style.Only thing I can think of as a drawback is it doesn't keep the ice frozen, but then, giving up room in it for ice when it could be holding more beer is just ludicrous. This scenario actually makes me shudder to consider.

Summary?Kick-ass fridge for the money and if you have Prime, pay the $4 to overnight it just so you can tell your friends you overnighted a FRIDGE for FOUR FREAKING DOLLARS.Then slam back a cold one for emphasis.

We purchased this refrigerator for our outside entertainment bar because of its size and energy efficiency rating. So far we are very satisfied. It is a quiet and maintains internal temperature keeping everything nice and cold. There are plenty of shelving options as they are all adjustable. The door has 10 can holder slots for beer or soda and also has adjustable shelves for bottles of soda or wine. There is a drawer on the bottom perfect for storing garnishes, cheeses or meats. There is plenty of room in the rest of the fridge to fill as you please. The door really is spot resistent, we are not constantly cleaning it!This was a great purchase; we highly recommend this item.

I had my Danby less than 24 hours before the problems started.I had the thermostat set at slightly more than half (probably 6/10) for the first night it was in use.The next day, I discovered that all of my 6 (expensive!) bottled beers on the bottom shelf (above crisper drawer) had frozen, and 3 of them had burst causing beer to go everywhere!Checked the rest of the beverages in the fridge to see if they were also close to bursting, but found those in the middle & top shelves not even beginning to freeze.

After this fiasco, I set the thermostat to about a third of the way up (probably 3/10) so as not to have a repeat incident. After another 6 hours, the stuff on the bottom did not freeze, but was very cold (great!).However, the items on the top shelf were barely even cool to the touch (not great).I proceeded to do a little test with a refrigeration thermometer leaving the thermostat at about one-third.After 30 minutes, the bottom shelf read 37 degrees.I moved it to the top shelf and waited another 30 minutes, and found it showing 54 degrees!A 17 degree difference between top and bottom!!!Not to mention that 37 degrees is WAY too cold especially when the thermostat dial is set so low.

So it seems that I am experiencing the same inconsistent cooling that at least 2 other reviewers are having.Amazon was great about setting up a replacement delivery & pickup.I am willing to try a replacement before calling this fridge a total failure. The replacement is set to arrive tomorrow, so I'll post an update in a few days.Wish me luck!

UPDATE:Received a replacement, and it had the same EXACT issue!!!Started it off with the thermostat at the midway point (most manufacturers recommend this setting), and placed identical thermometers on the top and bottom shelves. After one hour, the top read 55 degrees, and the bottom was at 30!!!!I am willing to accept a few degrees difference, maybe even as much as 6 or 7 tops, but 15 degrees is ridiculous.I would have to accept the top being at nearly 60 just to keep the lower half above freezing.Am sending this one back also (UPS is gonna hate me tomorrow), and am getting the Haier 4.5cu ft one instead.Fingers crossed...

Bought this to put in our casita for house guests. It was one of the few compact refrigerators we found that was frost free. It runs very quietly and chills very well. My only complaint is we wanted to reverse the door opening but no matter how much I fiddled with it we could not get the door to seal properly. When it opened from the opposite side the door would sag and the seal would not line up. I tried using a stack of washers and tried adjusting it every imaginable way to no avail. We wound up having the door open from the original side which required us to put the refrigerator in a different location.

We purchased this refrigerator from a Menard's 70 miles north of our hometown. At the time we weren't really looking for a refrigerator, but the one we had was very small and not that functional.

We saw this refrigerator on a "special buy" and bought it on the spot! We purchased it for $899!!!

This is a sleek beautiful machine. There is a compartment on the door with its own sliding doors for milk, juice, etc, that has direct airflow from the freezer! It makes those drinks so cold and yummy! There are adjustable glass shelves that make it very easy to keep clean, one small drawer, one large drawer, and one drawer with an angled bottom that sits over the compressor.

On the freezer side, there are several wire shelves but, there are also deep pull out baskets! The baskets are so much easier to use than stacking items up in a freezer full ofshelves and having to unpack an entire shelf to get to the back item!

I also want to point out that there are two lights on the fridge side and a the freezer side it lit as well. I have never had a fridge, either top feezer, or side by side that has a lit freezer!!!

There are digital controls, a filter order and filter replace indicator and a door open alarm.

I love this fridge, it's huge, but it looks so nice in our small kitchen!

4.2 Cu. Ft. 12-Bottle Silhouette Select Built-in Party Center - Stainless

  • 12 bottle wine compartment; 60 beverage can capacity
  • Ice-maker stores 40 lbs. of ice per 24 hours
  • Frost-free, fan forced cooling system
  • Electronic blue LED thermostat

It's better looking than the pictures and has cool blue interior lighting. The slide out shelves make it easy to reach items in the back and have stops to prevent them from coming all the way out. Most important, the unit allows me to maintain different temperatures on each side. The beer stays cold and the wine is chilled (very satisfied). Ice maker is good given everything else overdelivered and I have never run out of ice. I am very satisfied so far but it runs a lot and am worried about durability.

I bought this unit to replace the one on my Amana Model SRD21VW-P1315501WW. The refridgerator called out for a Defrost Thermostat R0161088 which is the same sensor unit with a large harness and several connectors which cost $34 and required running wires through the back wall of the freezer compartment.

My freezer kept getting stuck in a defrost cycle (ice cubes melt and then freezing back into a big chunk). To test, I cut the old one out of the existing harness, leaving about 4" inches on the thermostat. I then put the T-Stat in ice water to check for continuity and removed it to if it opened at around 40-50 degrees. The thermostat failed so I ordered this one as a replacement.Crimped on male and female connectors to the harness and the new thermostat and voila! My refridgerator was back in business.

What can I say?It fits my new 25' Frigidaire chest freezer perfectly. The three factory baskets are blue, this one is white.Other than that it is identical. We keep two on the left and two on the right, as the light assembly on the lid will hit a basket left in the middle. We use the new white basket for introducing new food into the freezer, then we move it where it belongs once it freezes. This prevents warming food that is already in there by laying unfrozen food next to it.

Sundanzer Solar-Powered Freezer - 8.1 Cubic Ft

Sundanzer Solar-Powered Freezer - 8.1 Cubic Ft
  • Requires 215 Watt solar panel, 300 Ah battery and 15 Amp charge controller
  • Ideal for off-grid solar homes or applications where grid electricity is not readily available
  • Uses environmentally-friendly CFC-free refrigerant
  • Includes baskets for food organization

Installed this unit about 2 years ago in southern Michigan so it's been through two winters now. My installation is powered by 300 watts of solar panels, which is more than needed but I don't have a good sunny spot in the back yard.Unit is operated at 24 volts using four 6-volt golf cart batteries in series that were purchased from Sams Club. A cheap charge controller was bought on eBay.This combination works fine but the freezer does not keep things as cold as a normal freezer. It stays around 15 degrees F, which I monitor with one of those cheap indoor/outdoor wireless temperature gauges from ABC Warehouse. This temperature is measured near the top of the freezer so should be about the warmest spot. I tried using 130 watts of solar panels and it did not do the trick maybe if I cut a tree or two and adjusted the panel vertical angle seasonally it would work with the 130 watts?

11/29/12 Update

Recently the freezer's control unit died and freezer would not work at all.I contacted Sundanzer (915-821-0042) and spoke with "Billy". He was very helpful and, even thought the freezer is out of warranty, he shipped me a replacement controller at no cost. Replacement was easy and the freezer is now functional again. I did learn that Sundanzer has gone to a different manufacturer for the controller (and compressor?).The controller in my unit was made by ACC in Italy. I'm not sure what kind of service I will receive in the future as it is my understanding that Sundanzer no longer uses this manufacturer. The controller Billy sent me was one of only six they had in stock and they were not able to test it before sending it do me. Billy attempted to test it with the only compressor they had in stock that was compatible with the ACC controller, and none of the six controllers they had in stock wouldwork with that compressor. Thus it would appear that the only compatible compressor Sundanzer had in stock was defective. I also asked Billy if there was some way to make my freezer operate at a lower temperature and he responded that he would also send me the "ice cream thermostat" for my freezer.Again, replacement was a snap but it did not seem to make much of a difference in the freezer's temperature.I concluded that I probably did not have enough solar panels to keep my 24 volt battery fully charged and added another 124 watts of solar panels, making a total of 424 watts in panel output. The freezer now maintains a temperature consistently around 2 degrees F toward the top of the unit and a degree or two lower at the bottom. mkwalker16@hotmail.com

Whirlpool GSS30C6EYW 29.7 Cu. Ft. White Side-By-Side Refrigerator - Energy Star

Whirlpool GSS30C6EYW 29.7 Cu. Ft. White Side-By-Side Refrigerator - Energy StarThis is an awesome side by side fridge. We've had it for a couple of months and we are very happy we bought it. We got it for about half price of what's listed here it was marked down, probably because it is wider than can fit in many kitchens. It's a great looking fridge with the cool blue lighted display on the ice maker. And there are many lights inside the fridge and the freezer. There isn't anywhere you can't see easily. There's even a light illuminating the ice!

Speaking of the ice maker, I read a review before buying where someone commented that the ice spits out and this is true. However, if you hold the glass up towards where the ice comes out, it isn't a problem. Our last fridge caught on fire (Sears Kenmore Elite) thank goodness we were at home when it happened. Anyway, we had to replace parts in that ice maker all the time.Every week I had to take out all the ice and chisel the ice build up out of the chute so the ice could come out.Major pain. The flap holding the ice in didn't close properly and the ice would melt into a big chunk.

This fridge solves the problem the flap to let the ice out is motorized and closes after each use. The ice maker doesn't hold as much as the last one so I have a quart ziploc bag with extra ice just in case we get company and need more. You can choose ice cubes or chips. There are separate pads to push for water and ice which is easier for my mother-in-law to use.She lives with us and is blind. We put a loc-dot on the digital display on the ice maker and she has no problem using it.A great feature is that the water dispenser will discharge a pre-determined amount. We set it at one cup so she can easily get water to mix with her vitamin supplement drink.

The drawers are well built. They glide easily, even when full of heavy items like cans of pop; not like our last fridge where you had to tug and tug to get the drawers open.

So far I have no complaints about this purchase!

HAIER HNSE032 3.2 CUBIC-FT REFRIGERATOR/FREEZER (WHITE)

HAIER HNSE032 3.2 CUBIC-FT REFRIGERATOR/FREEZERLove the overall product, just hate that the plastic shelf for the gallon door bin broke within first week of purchase. It got stuck and when we opened door, it broke off. It's $17+ to buy replacement part, so we just don't use bottom half of door. Really like the top half of door that holds 8 drink cans! Maybe they should have done away with bottom shelf and made entire door can holder. We got it on sale for a little over $100 at Walmart last year, so it's definitely worth that price. I'm not sure I'd pay much more than that though.

Cuisinart DLC-2A Mini Prep Plus 3-Cup 250-Watt Food Processor

Cuisinart DLC-2ATQ Mini-Prep Plus Processor, TurquoiseWhen I starting searching for a mini-chopper I was surprised by the huge rating difference between the Cuisinart DLC2 and the KitchenAid KFC3100, so I bought both and did a side-by-side comparison. The only explanation I can give for the ratings difference is that Cuisinart buyers must have higher expectations. For most operations they have nearly identical performance and for some operations the Cuisinart is the clear winner.

Onions:Many Cuisinart reviewers panned its performance here, claiming it made onion purée, but most KitchenAid reviewers praised its onion chopping ability.I found almost no difference between the two.Maybe its an issue with the instructions for chopped onions you must use a few short pulses.A few more pulses and you get minced onion more than this and both give you onion puree.I wouldn't say either is great at chopping onions, but both are equally mediocre.

I also tested chopping nuts, and making breadcrumbs with similar results. Both performed about the same for a course chop, although the Cuisinart produced a more even chop on the nuts, but its when you want a really fine chop that the Cuisinart starts to shine. The first reason for this is the grind feature found only on the Cuisinart. This spins the blade in the opposite direction which allows the flat, back-side of the blade to impact the food.More importantly, it redistributes the food, so if you've got a couple of chunks that refuse to be chopped, a short pulse in the opposite direction helps it drop into the blade. For perfect, fine breadcrumbs Ialternate between the normal chop mode for a few seconds, and grind for one second.

The other reason the Cuisinart gives a better fine chop is that it does a much better job of cycling the food through the blade. This is a real key when you're working with softer foods like spreads, pâtés or purees. When I made a cream cheese spread in both choppers the Cuisinart did a far quicker and better job of pulling the ingredients down the center and into the blade. The KitchenAid kept larger chunks bobbing on top.If you're making dips, spreads or baby food, the Cuisinart is the hands-down winner.

On the practical side, both choppers were equally easy to clean. Both have small holes in the lid for pouring in liquids on the fly, but only The KitchenAid has a slot for dry or thick ingredients if that's important to you.Overall, I found the Cuisinart easier to use for several reasons.First, the Cuisinart blade drops on easily, while the KitchenAid blade is keyed and I found myself turning it several times before it dropped in.Second, the KitchenAid lid must be removed first before you can lift off the bowl, but on the Cuisinart, the bowl and lid can be detached as an assembly. Finally, the Cuisinart blade has a "handle" that extends to the top of the bowl like a popsicle stick allowing you to remove the blade without getting your fingers in the food.

After all my testing, I really can't understand the large ratings difference between these two.Neither is perfect you'll never get a perfect, even, course chop with things like onions or chocolate, but they do come in handy. For many uses either one will give you pretty much the same results.Because of its advantage with softer foods and its ease of use, I recommend the Cuisinart.

I got this as a gift from my boyfriend and have been using it regularly. This is one of those things that you don't think you ever need (and I did give this topic extensive thought), but once you have it, you would really miss it.

The good is that it is really good at FINELY chopping things.

The bad is that it is really good at FINELY chopping things.

Keeping this in mind, I've learnt when to use and when to just use my knife. For instance, when chopping walnuts for banana bread, I put a cup of walnuts into the processor and hit "Chop" it immediately chopped the walnuts into good sized chunks, but there was a couple of walnuts that didn't get cut yet, so I hit the "Chop" button a couple more times, but that turned the rest of the walnuts to a very small almost "powder" consistency.I tried it again, with about the same results.I guess I could try putting in less walnuts at a time, but then that would defeat the purpose of "less work" since I'd have to put in a small amount, chop, dump out the first batch, repeat. It's much easier in this case to do a coarse chop with knife.Chopping Mushrooms in this device also was lacking, it kind of made a mushroom puree.

Where it shines though is in my daily meals where I'm making some kind of pan sauce.Just about all my pan sauces or pan meals start with butter/oil, then saute'ing some garlic and onions.I'll just peel a few cloves of garlic, coarse chop an onion, dump it all into the MiniPrep, and presto, it's done! When I'm ready to dump it into my pan, just remove the co, remove the blade and use a mini-silicone spatula to dump the contents directly into the pan.A quick rinse of the lid, blade, and work bowl, and the processor can be put away. That can't be any easier.

For larger meals and more ingredients, it's great to just coarsely chop your items, dump into the processor, let it do it's work, and then fill up your prep bowls with the different ingredients making everything easier once you're cooking.

I find the "Chop" and "Grind" feature to be pretty much the same thing, just in opposite directions. The opposite direction thing is helpful to get the food to drop down to the blade. If you don't put too much in the processor, once the piece is chopped, it gets flung to the sides of the work bowl and sticks there, creating empty space for the unchopped foods to drop into the blade.Everything gets chopped evenly...it just gets chopped very finely too.

The entire unit is very easy to use and clean. The blades are extremely sharp, so be careful when washing those. The clear plastic work bowl does get a little scratched up and not so clear anymore after a bit of use...but then, it's a work bowl. The buttons are under a protective plastic, sealed so no chance of anything getting under the buttons, just a quick wipe and it's clean!

Overall, the unit is small, solid, quiet, easy to use, and easy to clean. It's great for fine chops to puree, not so great for coarse chops/dice.Perfect size for meals for 2 people. For making larger meals you may want to look at the larger cup sized processors, or just make a couple of batches.

I had this Cuisinart DLC Miniprep first, and was not happy with it. I wanted a small food processor primarily to chop up an onion and some garlic cloves, and with the Cuisinart, I pretty much ended up doing almost all of the chopping before I put the food in the processor, otherwise large sections wouldn't get cut.

After reading the reviews here about how the Kitchenaid has the reverse sprial action which pulls down the food, I thought I'd try that one, and it's true!!The Kitchenaid KFC3100 is a superior product! Now I can just cut the onion into quarters and throw in whole garlic cloves and it cuts them all up perfectly. I read the reviews from others before buying the product--disregard the bad reviews about things turning to mush. The only way things turn to mush is if you hold the chop button down. If you do quick pulses, you get exactly what you want. This is the essential appliance because it helps to do exactly what the name says--prep. Often after coming home late I want to make a meal, but the thought of chopping onions, garlic or veggies seems daunting. Not with the mini-prep. It saves so much time.Plus I use fresh ingredients more often. I am completely happy with this product.

We just purchased this refrigerator/freezer.The design seems very nice and practical, nothing bad to say about that. However, the unit is extremely loud.I am twenty five feet away from the refrigerator as I type this review and I can hear the cooling fan clear as a bell.We had a technician check it out and he said that is just the way it is and there was nothing he could do about it.If you do decide to buy this unit, may I suggest you also purchase a good set of ear plugs.

I agree with the other reviewer that this unit is very loud. The inside layout is nice, and it works well, but I wouldn't have bought it if I had known it was this loud.

Bad design, : We've owned this refrigerator for slightly over three years. In that time, the control board in the top shelf failed twice ( part costs $510), and the wiring to the top drawer (part costs $110) has failed four times. The movement of the top drawer when you open and close it bends it back and forth so it eventually breaks. Two weeks ago the wiring broke again, and then over the weekend the fridge and freezer failed completely (compressor won't run).

Bad customer service: I think Whirlpool should make a fridge that doesn't break, or that at least the repair parts should be cheap (250 feet of the wire used in the $110 top drawer wiring costs $100 online). I called Whirlpool to complainand I was told by the person on the phone that the fridge was "made by humans" and it is so complicated with all the onboard electronics that I should "expect the fridge to break" this frequently, so it was my fault that I didn't buy the extended warranty coverage ($519).

We are going to replace this with another fridge from a different manufacturer.

Vinotemp 5.12 Cu. Ft. Outdoor Refrigerator

Vinotemp 5.12 Cu. Ft. Outdoor Refrigerator
  • Internal digital control panel and blue LED lighting
  • Front vented exhaust system for built-in or freestanding installation
  • External security lock
  • Capacity: 5.12 cubic feet
  • Temperature Range: 34-43F

This is a really good product, especially when you consider it is rated for outdoor use.The motor is quiet, it keeps a constant temperature and looks really nice.Only negative I would give is there isn't any pull handle or indented side to grasp the door when opening. We have room between the cabinet wall and the door so it isn't a problem for us but something to take into consideration if putting this in a tight space.Otherwise we are really please with the product!

This is a great outdoor fridge for the BarBQ area. It's very competitively priced when compared to the other outdoor rated fridges. The interior is not plastic like the lower end units. And the shelves are glass, which makes for easy cleanup. The only negative is that it has no door handle.

I would recommend this unit to all my friends.

I am a serious home French pastry chef. Five years ago I bought the then-current version of this stove. My main interest was the convection oven. Indeed, this oven is extremely good in even baking. There were many other features I liked, although I found the controls a bit confusing. For guests and first timers, the controls can be VERY confusing. I would still have given it 5 stars.

I bought this new version for a different home. There is one change that I find so annoying that I downgraded this new model in my view to 4 stars. This is the temperature readout for the main oven.

On most digital readouts, including the earlier version of this stove, you start by setting the target temperature. Then as the oven heats up, it shows the actual temp. This gives you an idea of how much longer you need to wait. If you are cooking something at a non-critical 350 degrees, you might just put it in at 325. Similarly, if you open the oven, say to turn a tray, you know exactly how much the temp has dropped. Not with this new version.

You set the target temp, then wait for a long beep to tell you the oven has reached the

target temp. There is no way to tell the current temp. While heating up, some lights flash in an incomprehensible sequence. Neither the manual nor Fridigaire customer support could explain what those lights mean. Even with a totally manual oven (like the small side oven here), you can get an idea of current temp by rotating the knob and listening for the thermostat click.

Another downgrade was the minimum temp setting on the old oven was 100 degrees, a sometimes useful setting in baking. The minimum on this oven is 150.

I wrote to Frigidaire, an actual letter to the director of marketing with the comments above. He never replied.

Bought this range when we remodeled the kitchen.I would rather have had a gas model, but there is no gas available here. This range with the convection oven get five stars from me.Bakesperfectly in both ovens. The smaller oven is great for a single loaf of bread or broiled steaks for two.The larger oven with its convection feature is fabulous for pizza, bread, large roasts and will accomodate huge pans.the stove top with the five burners is most useful. The left side of the cooktop can be used with a full size griddle since the normal space betweent eh burners can be activated as a heat unit. The warmer burner is great for melting chocolate, butter, or just keeping food warm.I'd buy ths again in a heartbeat.

I am remodeling my kitchen and replaced a 1950's dual oven drop in form Frigidaire. It was a really nice oven/range from the 50's and we always received compliments on it since it was very unique. It also was 40 inch.So we looked for another 40 inch range to replace it and this was fit the bill. I wanted to go with Gas cooking on top and the electric convection oven below. So far it is a great buy. This range is very classy looking and works a good as the more expensive other brands that cost 3 to 4 times more.

Rusco Spin Down Separator Sand / Sediment Water Filter 50 GPM - PWFSS15

Rusco Spin Down Separator Sand / Sediment Water Filter 50 GPM - PWFSS15I wanted a clear housing grit filter and could not find it anywhere.Amazon to the rescue. While I would have preferred the inlet and outlets to have been smaller, I bushed them down to 3/4 and the unit works great.Just what i needed, when i needed it and priced right.

I have had it for two years now and it easily solved the grit problems I was having. If valved properly on the install, cleaning the screen is a snap. My faucet cartridges and fill valves have needed NO attention at all since this install.I flush it every month or so and clean the screen quarterly. I put some "O" ring lube before I re-assemble and only hand tight.

After going thru numerous fabric filters that couldn't keep up, our water tech installed one of these to combat heavy sediment, sand and even large specs of iron in our well water. He installed a timer to allow it to auto purge a couple of times each day. This original filter has lasted and worked well for over 12 years saving untold damage to our downstream water softener.About once a year, I remove and manually clean the filter to extract any sediment that gets locked in the mesh. When the $ 500 timer failed, I replaced it with a $ 50 water bird irrigation timer that has worked flawlessly for 5 years.Very happy with and dependent on this tool.

This filter system is easy to install and easy to use. We just turn the bottom and empty the sediment into a bucket. My only problem is the filter. It doesn't stop small sediment very well and we needed to replace the filter after just 3 months. I expected it to last 6 months at least.

If you have moderate to heavy sediment, this is not for you. In fact, if you can spell sediment this is not for you. The idea behind the unit is great, but unfortunately it doesn't work. Sediment filtration is poor at best and the material that passes as a filter can easily come unglued decreasing the units limited effectiveness. As a $19.99 TV special, with 3 extra thrown in for those who order in the next 30 minutes, I might say give it a try, if only as a lesson not to believe everything you see on the box.

With filter systems that actually work starting around $35, this $53 price tag is ridiculous. So, if you still decide to buy one, buy mine. Slightly used and definitely broken
