I use this cooler under my desk at work.It's the second one I've purchased actually.The first one lasted about 2 years being constantly turned on.I just don't like smashing my lunch into the shared refridgerator with the rest of my coworkers.The power supply to our cubicle village can't support the little personal refridgerators and we've been threatened not to test this.It's almost silent fan can't be heard outside of my cubicle and it quickly turns into unperceptable background noise.The only one little thing I'm not thrilled about is the instructions tell you to turn it off for 1 hour after every 24 hours of continuous use.This means my yogurt warms up for 60 minutes during the day, or I have to turn it off before I go home and can't leave anything in there overnight.I don't always eat all my lunch so now I have to take home my left overs.It's not that big of a deal but sometimes I forget.I suppose I run the risk of burning it out faster?Oh well, at around $40 I'll just buy another new one.

I bought this mini fridge for my bedroom so I could have snacks available during my long recuperation from surgery.I followed all the appropriate directions but the fridge died in less than year. It first started making a loud grinding noise off and on, then one day when it started smelling like it was on fire I gave up. When I contacted the company they told me there was only a 30 day return policy and they could not replace it since it is no longer being produced (but it's still for sale here?). They offered a 10% discount for another product from their store but why would I want to buy from them again?
