One drawback.... There seems to be a buzz in it when the cooler turns on. I have sensitive ears and it is hardly noticeable to me now. I have not contacted anyone, but I am sure if I need to Amazon will do its usually... Help me out quickly and respectfully.
Still love it! If you want a roomy freezer you'll need an extra one.

Arrived promptly and in good condition.Used as basement refrigerator for bar.Front door looks nice, and keeps items cold. It does its job.It is noisy (louder than full size refrigerator in my kitchen) and noticeably louder than the unit that it is replacing (Haier Aficianado Series 4.4cu ft approx. 2006 vintage).Compared to prior unit Haier has definitely cheapened up the product over the years.Finish on exterior, lack of door lock, no interior light, and wire retainers for compartments on door.Read Best Reviews of Haier HNSE04BB 4.0 Cubic Feet Refrigerator/Freezer, Black Here

I bought this to replace a faulty larger fridge in my workshop. The unit arrived with a dent on the top rear of it the packaging is very scarce on this thing. It basically has thin polystyrene strips at each corner, and the sides are protected only by a fairly thin cardboard. I was not surprised to see it damaged after opening the box, thankfully my damage was at the rear. As this is for my workshop I will not be retiring the unit and will live with the appearance of it.This unit does not have a light. I was surprised by this.
It is about as noisy as the older refrigerator it replaced.
The ice cube tray is very small.
Whilst it states "it accommodates 2-liter and tall bottles" , it should be noted the bottle shelf in the door will actually overhang the door considerably, and the bottle is held in place with a special rack provided with the fridge. When the door is closed, half the bottle will be in the door area and half in the main fridge.
For less than one fifty bucks and shipped free in two days, it was better value than paying one eighty to get my old one fixed.First off, Amazon customer service is great, as usual. They do truly try to find a solution in many ways.
In many cases, items are sold by Amazon, but ship direct from the manufacturer. But, what the company sent was a useless unsecured box inside another box. The outer box did have a hole, but I looked through and saw the other box, and there was no damage. Then I got the thing in the house and saw the actual box. Based on the outside box, I figured everything was fine. But there were rips, gashes and holes all over the one inside. When I opened it, I was presented with two dents on the front of the door, one on the side and one on the top. Plus, the thing was filthy. There were also loose GLASS shelves inside. They were flopping around along with wires and plastic. And then there's the issue of a missing shelf and ice cube tray.I don't care about the ice cube tray, but it just reinforces my theory that this must have been pre-owned or a return to Haier.
This thing is HUGE and HEAVY and there is no repairing the boxes it came in.Which leaves my unable to return it without trying to find a box that will handle this. What a nightmare!I called Amazon, and they were helpful, and of course will take back any defective item. However, I decided to call Haier to tell them what I got, and they told me they would SELL me a new door and the missing parts. The unit is running, however, very loud, but I would have just settled for a new door, as the door is in fact detachable. But, no.They told me to have Amazon deal with it.And they did. It's going back. It is now no longer available.I will never buy anything with the name Haier on it ever again.
