To start with, it wasn't an exact replacement.I did get it to work by re-using the old brackets.It worked great for about 3 weeks, and the upper element burned out, so it's back to manual defrosting with the wife's hair dryer...

This was ordered for a Hotpoint side by side refrigerator. This part was just replaced about 11 months ago at about twice the price.The part was only warranted for 90 days, so I had to purchase it again.Ordered this one and it looks and works identical to the first one I purchased locally for twice the price.
