I bought this because the one in my Kenmore side by side was bad. The shaft on this one is shorter but still works just fine. I just had to make sure the fan wasn't rubbing when it spun. I tweaked the bracket a touch so it wouldn't and all was good. This replacement one worked for a couple days and then went out too. Or so I thought. Turned out the defrost timer went out after I put the new fan in. I didn't figure that out until I had returned 2 of these for replacement. Turns out it is extremely common for the thermostat, fan and defrost timer go out. If you think your fridge is special because it's a certain brand (which I did), it turns out it's not. Most of these parts are interchangeable. Do some checking and save yourself a lot of money!

So if you think your fan is what's going out make sure your defrost timer and thermostat aren't whats at fault. You can check youtube for how to test the thermostat and defrost timer. It's ridiculously easy. You just need a multi-meter. I had power going to the fan and a good ground and the fan wasn't going so I figured it had to be the fan. If you have the same results still test the thermostat and defrost timer. It will save you a big headache and time. I replaced both of them also and it was under $30 for both with PRIME. Wish I would of done it all in the beginning.

So with that said the seller was great and I was sent replacements with no problem at all. In fact they were sent out the same day I requested them.
