At first I was a little skeptical of the Haier brand due to issues with other units but this one isn't so bad. It gets cold and on the coldest setting I've actually managed to freeze some of the stuff I put in it without putting it in the little freezer compartment and if you want more room just remove the freezer compartment. Good deal for the price.

Still working like a charm. Had problems closing due to ice buildup on the freezer compartment but has been cleared up and it is working fine. It does not shake hard when running or make unbearable noises and I keep this in my bedroom. I have owned louder fish tank filters. Good deal if you want something to keep snacks and beverages cold. Couldn't fit a small pizza box in it to give you an idea of the size.

It keeps items cold; freezer freezes; it is ultra quiet and efficient; compact and well designed inside and out; what more can one ask? I bought mine for my office and I couldn't be happier.

It looks like it's second hand and water leaks out of the fridge. I wish I could return it, but I couldn't because nobody could help me move it to the post office.

This review is actually in reference to model #HSR17, which apparently has been discontinued. It stopped working after about three months. I contacted Haier and talked to a supervisor named Larry, he said they would send me a new one. It never came, so I called them again and talked to Larry again, he said there was a screwup and he would make sure it was shipped right away. I waited another two and a half weeks, it didn't come. Talked to Larry again, same story again, he doesn't know why it wasn't shipped, he will look into it. Either they are screwing around with me or they are just incompetent. Next I asked for the phone number for their corporate office so that I could complain directly to them, but when you call the number you get redirected to customer service, so you can't talk to anybody above the supervisor level at their customer service center! Horrible experience and the frig was a piece of junk.
